(WXYZ) - The FBI is confirming raids at the offices of three Michigan auto suppliers who do work for Toyota.
Search warrants were served Tuesday evening at Yazaki North America, DENSO International and Tokai Rika. Yazaki sells electronic components and DENSO makes accelerator pedals.
Denso has released the following statement about the situation "DENSO International America, Inc. (DIAM), U.S. subsidiary of DENSO Corporation, was inspected on February 23, 2010 by the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation and the U.S. Department of Justice in regard to U.S. antitrust laws. DIAM is cooperating with this investigation."

NTSA had all the reports and records they needed to make the call to Toyota to pull those vehicles in. They were asleep at the wheel, as usual, pun intended. Now Holder is doing union thug duty for zero’s union cronies.
The net result will be the loss of non-union jobs. This is a smear machine operation, plain and simple. Honda should look out. They’re probably next.
The best thing Americans can do is NOT buy anything built by the UAW. Put the &%#@!(* out of business. They need to be put to death. They’ve gotten too big for their britches. They are too greedy and power-hungry in their collusion with the rats with whom they are joined at the hip in a symbionic relationship to our extreme detriment.
I think it’s clear that Toyota is getting mugged by zero and the unions.
Nobody, nothing, is safe from this reign of political terror.
The warrants were served on business offices, not manufacturing plants. They’re probably looking for the paper trail about who knew what when about the various components that are allegedly failing.
BTW, the woman (pink suit, I think) who testified, crying, that she was nearly killed when the gas pedal stuck and she was headed toward an underpass obstruction of some sort so she called her husband to tall him she loves him? Does anyone know why she didn’t just put it in neutral or shut the ignition off?
You shouldn’t buy anything built by the UAW. When you buy something they built, you’re giving money to their union thugs and zero, the biggest union thug of them all.

These companies probably are not the targets at all. If they did business with Toyota, especially if the contracts had to do with the alleged problems with the Toyota products, then Toyota is the target.
I know how you feel. The minute this story broke, I turned to my husband and said something like, “The commie-in-Chief is mugging Toyota for his union thug buddies now.” My husband just looked at me and sort of shrugged, which is what he does when he’s skeptical. He now agrees with me.
What I wanted to know from hanky lady was why she didn’t put the car into neutral or shut off the ignition. Notice that nobody asked her about that?
No, Ford’s a UAW shop. Next is Honda or any larger non-union shop with the majority of their operation in red states. The attack on Toyota heavily impacts TN.

I watched a bit of one of the FOX News shows (whatever was on just before 5 pm, some woman I didn’t recognize)... and they had for “expert analysis” a UAW guy who was simply head of one of their locals -— no suggestion that he was an engineer or at all knowledgeable about the details, just that it was convenient for the UAW to bash Toyota. If that’s the best that FoxNews can do on this issue then it’s all sham on all fronts.
Years back I had a 1990 T-Bird with a gas pedal that twice stuck and slowly kept accelerating. I put it in neutral and drifted over to the shoulder, shut it off, waited a few minutes, pumped the pedal a couple times, started it up, it was unstuck and engine idling. End of problem.
You left out the fact that Toyota is primarily made in TN, a very red state that is also now the headquarters of the tea party folks.

Thanks for the post! Now I’m beginning to understand Obama’s frustration with Toyota. He and Japan don’t have a thing in common!
Gee, and for just one minute there, I thought, oh good, our government is going to expose the folks who have set Toyota up—whoops it IS the government that has set Toyota up....what a country!
But remember, Obama BOWED to the Emperor!
I think getting any UAW person to come on and say that is pretty darn good.
He may be lying in an alley with a bullet through his head as we speak.
