Anyone who looks at earthquakes as a major sign of Christ’s rapture of the church will be disappointed. The signs mentioned in Matthew 24 should be observed at the same time other prophecies are being fulfilled.
Attention should be focused on Israel. One of the greatest signs will the Nation of Israel’s movement to build the third Temple. Along with that there will be a war with all Israel’s neighbors... with destruction of Damascus - Is. 17, Amos 1.

Precisely. It's all about Israel and from the looks of things, it appears as though the Psalm 83 prophecy may very well be fulfilled in the near future and that war may just result in the fulfillment of Isaiah 17.
Some are even suggesting that that war may happen by June. We'll see.
