Liz Cheney to address SRLC [Southern Republican Leadership Conference]
Politico ^ | March 3, 2010 | Andy Barr

Posted on 03/03/2010 3:38:06 PM PST by La Enchiladita

Liz Cheney will address the Southern Republican Leadership Conference in April, the conference organizers announced Wednesday.

Cheney, the founder of Keep America Safe and the daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney, said she is “honored” to speak at the New Orleans conference April 8-11.

“I look forward to addressing the largest Republican gathering ahead of the 2012 Republican National Convention and discussing ideas that will secure our country’s future and keep America strong, free and prosperous,” she said in a statement.

SRLC President and CEO Charlie Davis called Cheney a “powerful voice in the Republican Party.”

...Cheney recently spoke at the Conservative Political Action Conference, where her father surprised the crowd by coming on stage to symbolically pass the torch to his daughter.

The former vice president said that he is “enormously proud” of his daughter and joked that “she said I could come with her, but that I had to be arm candy.”

Please no more pro-gay marriage and pro-sodomy lectures from the McCains and Cheneys.

They should spend their efforts in getting Lindsay Graham-nesty married off to the best man.

Sounds like RINO and Pro-McCain love fest. I like Santorum. I hope he is not coming out for Juan McCain.

New Gingrich sabotaged NY-23 and is a RINO POS.

Your vulgar spam isn’t welcome. The article is about one person -— Liz Cheney -— and her upcoming appearance at a Republican conference. If you can’t stay on topic, peddle your vitriol elsewhere.

I really like her. As the daughter of Lynn and Dick Cheney, I wouldn’t have expected any less. Hope she decides to run for something.

“Please no more pro-gay marriage and pro-sodomy lectures from the McCains and Cheneys.”

Liz is a Mitt Romney backer, the pro homosexual candidate that agrees with the Cheney’s on homosexuality in the military.

“One issue I want to clarify concerns President Clinton’s “don’t ask, don’t tell, don’t pursue” military policy. I believe that the Clinton compromise was a step in the right direction. I am also convinced that it is the first of a number of steps that will ultimately lead to gays and lesbians being able to serve openly and honestly in our nation’s military. That goal will only be reached when preventing discrimination against gays and lesbians is a mainstream concern, which is a goal we share.”
Sincerely, W. Mitt Romney

Good looking, intelligent women REALLY annoy Liberals, LOL!

I like Liz. She and I both have weird sisters. Doesn't deminish us in the least or alter our convictions about what is right and what is WRONG. ;)

I love arguing with my sister. She's so clueless, LOL!

Keep America Safe founded by Liz Cheney put out a video yesterday on the DOJ’s
“ Al Queda Seven.”

Today Holder folded and released the last seven names of Barry nominated DOJ lawyers who have previously worked to defend Gitmo terrorists.
Brava ! Ms Cheney-the apple does not fall far from the tree.

A RINO love fest. Anyone Republican or conservative would run away from anything involving Newt after he sabotaged NY-23 with Dede and other RINOs.

ansell:

You’re being a little tough on Liz, who can hardly be faulted for standing by her sister even if she comes out on the wrong side of the issue.

In politics, you will be well served observing an 85 percent rule, conceding that no one is EVER going to side with your positions 100 percent of the time.

And as for Liz backing Romney, that’s easily enough made irrelevant by the rest of us in spring 2012, as we nominate a conservative (preferrably first name Sarah).

And — as for the question your tag rhetorically raises, I am reminded of Chesterton, who would have said you are definitely on to something:

“Tolerance is the virture of the man without convictions.”

The homosexual agenda is the new internal wedge issue in the GOP and so far it looks like the Cheneys and Mitt Romney are on the wrong side.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure you are one of our worst romneybots.

This was a personal attack “Another unwelcome irrelevant post, not surprising given the source.”, and it was out of the blue, that is the same style that you use when pushing the pro-homosexual Mitt Romney.
