Obviously the warmness caused more humidity which caused more ice to form, therefore, it is definitely caused by Global Warming.
What's that you ask? Why did it then get cold enough to freeze the ice?
Well silly it always gets cold and freezes stuff in the winter in the northern hemisphere.

Please remind me why global warming is a bad thing.
Please ask Gore why this is happening?
Please ask 0bambi why we should pay to stop the Baltic sea from freezing (I don’t give a rats butt about the Baltic sea).
Just asking.....

Someone believed Ol'Bore. The largest Swedish ice-breaker (ODEN) is on a scientific expedition to Antarctica!!
Several ferries are stuck in the ice but so no danger to the passengers (so far). Smaller ice-breakers are on their way:
Bloody AGW!! We've had snow, ice and sub-zero degrees since mid-December. This month of January was the first January in Stockholm since 1829 (eighteen-) without a single day with temperatures above 0°C.
1829 - that was the year Andrew Jackson was inaugurated. Seems like yesterday. :-)

PS: Al Gore visited Oslo (in Norway, but not that far from Stockholm) today. Gave a lecture on AGW and on the campaign trying to discredit the "AGW science".
Same thing happened during the Copenahagen meeting. These guys are fantastic. Wherever they turn up it starts to snow and the temps drop. As long as they are around no need to fear global warming.

Sailing out of St. Petersburg, the Gulf of Finland (easternmost section of the Baltic) was like a giant parking lot. Could see 30-80 ships at a time, for many miles.

Sounds like the Baltic was hit by the same Global Warming Front that hit D.C. a few weeks ago.
