Never going to happen. Make absolutely no mistake: if/when the big totalitarian takeover becomes official, the military will side with the government.
our “government” is nothing more than a hostile, totalitarian thugocracy. Reading this latest plan of theirs merely proves me right.
What else could come out of Chicago politics?

There *might* be a silver lining here. It’s possible, although by no means certain, that the SCOTUS would overturn such a bill due to being passed unconstitutionally...

Isn’t Slaughter the one who weepily described a lady having to wear her dead sister’s false teeth because she had no health insurance?
Note to Slaughter: most health policies ain’t gonna provide false teeth to that lady, either.
This time let's bring pitchforks, torches, and...weapons.
Because people like us own most of them, a fact they may be tempted to forget at their peril.
The Oath Keepers have started a pro-American movement. Somehow, I don't see our own sons and daughters supporting a government out to destroy everything we hold dear. I believe most will side with their families. The majority of enlistments are moderate or conservative. A progressive/Socialist/communist would never have the courage to enlist.
The military might help the government at first, because they'll be in a state of confusion, but once that dies down and they come back to their senses, I believe they'll side with the people and Constitution they vowed to protect.
It will be the patriots and the U.S. military fighting against SEIU, ACORN, Black Panthers, etc. Should mop them up in a day or two. But first, need to cut off the head of the snake.

You bet. The Dems are willing to slaughter every semblance of a reasonable and fair process for resolving this issue in their single-minded pursuit of a progressive Holy Grail. This is not about bipartisanship or even what’s good for America. It’s “my way or the highway” time on Capitol Hill.
In all likelihood, voters will reciprocate with a slaughter of their own next November. Live by the sword, die by the sword.
Really, this is just another sign that they don’t have the votes for the Senate bill in the House, and is simply yet another ploy to delay that inevitable moment in which the Obama agenda (and Presidency) is declared to be dead.
Slaughter, eh? What an appropriate name.
