I don’t see a darned thing to protect consumers in there, just another gun they can point at the heads of large corporations to extort them.

(The era of John McCain is over, the era of Ronald Reagan is back! Go Sarah Go!)
They are slamming so much communism in so quickly that it's almost impossible to stop.
We need to do the same. 205 different bills all at once meant to overwhelm the communists.

We need a government protection agency designed to protect US citizens from this renegade government.

So the cork sucker Dodd takes a sweet deal from a mortgage company and now wants to screw them. What a piece of $hit!

(I love my country but fear my government!)
Dodd proposes a consumer watchdog housed within the Federal Reserve, a systemic risk council, new Fed oversight over the largest financial institutions and authority for unwinding large companies, more stringent rules for large banks engaged in certain activities, and hedge fund registration, among other things.
Let's see. A consumer watchdog housed within an agency that refuses to submit to a simple audit. Yes! That's the ticket!!
He is one person that really needs to be in jail.
