Tim Mak at FrumForum is debunking each of Debbie Schlussel's allegations against Sean Hannity and Freedom Alliance.

Schlussel has been unreliable in the past, and in retrospect I should have approached her report with more skepticism (the lede sentence on my post this morning -- "This is disgusting" -- should have been something more like "If this is true, it's disgusting"). I apologize to Hannity, and (much more importantly) to our readers.

I appreciate Schlussel’s brave work to expose the Islamic threat to Americans. I read her work regularly and yes, she can be reckless and start unnecessary fights. It seems that her personal attacks are becoming more frequent. Sean Hannity can simply ignore her. And hopefully she gets more respect for genuine authority.

I’m glad Hannity is vindicated, and for those who took my rather benign questions/comments about it PERSONALLY, I would encourage you to afford others their opinions or questions on the matter.

But the vindication of Hannity does not grant you a free pass to smear FReepers who expressed doubt about this charity without any malicious intent.

So anyone who did question Hannity and the charity are “pathetic”. Anyone who has doubts or questions about anything in the future are to remain silent on the matter? Are we not allowed to express our opinions in your mind?

No...I will not chill out. It’s one thing to question and it’s another to say he has to address this NOW and statements about how the libs are going to run with this story and how it will make us (conservatives) look bad, while the country is headed for the shitter. The comments about how Hannity was keeping silent like the way Bush was and did not fight the constant accusations from the liberal media...etc. There were many uncalled for comments, IMO that went beyond just questioning. I never called out any FReepers by name and I do not remember your comments. But again...I linked to a liberal website from 2006 that had basically the same crap that this Debbie BITCH was spewing and yet many people here chose to question Hannity over her (and her intentions). I am sorry...but I am not smearing anyone here...but if you/they side with someone who has a history of of this crap(Debbie), I will not hesitate to give my opinion.

I at least posted my mea culpa, but at the same time questioned your intentions with your emotional outbursts against other FReepers.

Like you, I am free to post my opinions on the matter if I so choose. If you disagree, that’s fine, that’s what debate is about. But you don’t get to define what is and is not “uncalled for”.

From time to time, Schussel has been spot on. In this case, I believe a source she trusted, duped her.

On the other hand, it could be an audition. Perhaps Schussel’s hoping the MSLSD network might open the outhouse door wide enough for another gadfly.

Ah yes.

I did remember that she posted at FR a looooooong time ago, but couldn’t tell you her online name.

I should and will take back my comment about her looks though. It’s not her face that makes her ugly, it’s her jealousy and unfocused hatred at other Conservatives that does.

I don’t mind at all when people don’t agree with each other. It’s healthy not to cow tow to someone, no matter their public stature. But... stuff like this is just stupid. Plus I’ve read her blog & it seems like the deep end is where she likes to stay.

I take no offense SZonian. Glad you see the truth on the Hannity/Freedom Alliance issue. This Schlussel did a very bad thing, I have no doubt she will be punished somehow...seems we always do pay for our transgressions.
