The better question is “will it be repealed”? No.
One thing that can be done by a Congressional majority in 2010 is simply denying funding to any part of it.
Let Obama veto and shut the government down.
Repealed, No. Overturned by SCOTUS, Yes.
Remember the Alamo! Remember Goliad! Remember Obamacare!

Think positive, I think it can definitely be done.
The thing that makes it possible is the legislation is front loaded with taxes and no benefits. People will see the tax impact fairly quickly. The trick is getting the repeal done before the entitlement part actually kicks in.
The SCOTUS is our only viable alternative. But it will be up to the states to challenge Obamacare in the courts. Litigation by private citizens probably won’t work.
Every avenue must be used to stop this Obamanation!

Exactly.
This bill represents a windfall of political jobs, and influence. No politician will dare kill a cash cow.
They’re all politicians, some are R’s, some are D’s, but they’re all politicians. (Politician = whore).
If not repeal — how about just amending the bill, by deleting everything after the title?
And then there is always the ultimate weapon.
Repeal by amendment to the constitution.
“Constitutional amendments.
Of course, there is one additional way for states to win a fight about the constitutionality of health-care legislation: Make it unconstitutional. Article V of the Constitution gives state legislatures the power to require Congress to convene a convention to propose an amendment to the Constitution. If two-thirds of state legislatures demand an amendment barring the federal regulation of health insurance or an individual mandate, Congress would be constitutionally bound to hold a convention. Something like this happened in 1933 when Congress proposed and two-thirds of the states ratified the 21st Amendment, removing from the Constitution the federal power to prohibit the manufacture, sale and transportation of alcohol. But the very threat of an amendment convention would probably induce Congress to repeal the bill.”

Boy aren’t you a rain of sunshine. Geesshhh, we need hope here, don’t take away our hope.
Oh that would be great...but they’ll ALL make that claim....we still MUST NOT elect Rhinos AND keep in mind that 2010, 2012 won’t make a hill of beans if we don’t do something to stop “path to citizenship” AMNESTY.
The republicans won't be able to repeal it after 2010, though they should try. Obama will veto the repeal, but they should force him too.
It's the elections in 2012 that will determine if we can repeal it.
Fortunately, the mandate, which has even the left up in arms, goes into effect in 2013. So it's going to be a 2012 campaign issue.
Overturned by SCOTUS? No. About as much chance as repealing the Roe VS. Wade decision.
Think about it -- what is the purpose of health insurance? It's to make sure the money is available to pay the doctor. It is the doctor (and nurse and paramedic etc) that provides the health care.
The Republicans have got to avoid be wonky and abstract and propose laws specifically designed to improve the number and efficiency (more patients effectively treated per day) which will have the ultimate results of taking apart ObamaCare.
Deregulation happened with energy and communications. It can be done. It just doesn’t happen often!
What's the lag time, about four years?
