Don’t flatter yourself weenie, Mussolini could hang with the best of them. You’re just a punk.

He should feel like Mussolini.

Congressman Anthony Weiner has said that health care is not a commodity. If it isn't a commodity then do doctors and nurses have rights? Assigning health care the status of a right makes health care workers slaves to that right who must serve it. On what ground could a health care worker refuse to provide their products and services since that would violate the patient's "basic human right to health care."

It’s got to be unbridled ego on their part. Today I’m hearing black members of Congress playing the race card as usual with charges of the n word being thrown around. Bs. I wouldn’t ever condone that kind of reaction. I couldn’t care less what these Democrats skin color was. I couldn’t care if they were black or purple with pink f**king polka-dots, they’re still a bunch of f**king Marxists. I’ll be perfectly honest with you. If I were in that crowd I don’t know if I could restrain myself from either cursing them out, which they deserve or belting one of them. Sure, that would get me arrested but so what? I’ve had that happen before. At this point, I don’t care. The original copy of The Constitution should be put up on E-bay. For all the Democrats care about it, whats in The National Archives now might as well be pages out of the phone book.

“What possessed this Democrat clown to come out before this crowd anyway?”
Probably looking for his shadow.....

I think he came out to gloat at the protestors because he came out, made his presence known, ignored everyone in the crowd, then went back inside.

*The old “Yeah, I killed a few Jews, but I didn’t inhale.” excuse.
Every Italian soldier fighting beside the Nazis freed up one more Nazi to bedevil Jews. *

Wrong. The Italians were such poor fighters that the Nazis had to divert forces to assist them in their endeavors in numerous areas. Heck, they had to occupy Northern Italy in the end due to the Italians’ total collapse.

By no means am I claiming that Benito was a swell guy, but Italy was one of the countries with the highest rate of survival for Jews during the Holocaust.

The Italian people were duped and realized too late they had a tyrant in Mussolini.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_history_of_Italy_during_World_War_II

Mussolini was well aware of the military and material deficiencies but thought the war would be over soon and did not expect to do much fighting. This led to confusion amongst ordinary Italians and soldiers who had little idea of what they were fighting for and, hence, had little conviction and saw little justification for it.

It is not true that the Italians were all that universally inept. They did serve on the Eastern Front, along with a lot of other Allies. German resources expended in Africa were minimal and having the Italians on their side complicated Allied transportation through the Mediterrean. (Probably the worst effect of African and Italian Campaigns from the German point of view is that it gave the American Army invaluable first hand experience fighting the Wehrmacht, experience that would prove invaluable in Europe.)

As I said in my original post, however, for the purpose of morality, the Italians and especially Mussolini were full partners of the Nazis and aided and abetted them in one of the most morally repugnant enterprises in the history of mankind.

Yes, you said that and now you’ve said it twice. You’ve been incorrect both times. You can keep saying it all you want, but without some sort of proof, it’s still false. The fact of the matter is, even though Italy was Nazi Germany’s first ally, Jews survived in Italy at a rate far, far higher than the rest of Europe. Intelligent people might ask “why is that?”

*It is not true that the Italians were all that universally inept. They did serve on the Eastern Front, along with a lot of other Allies.*

The Italians sure manhandled the might Abyssinians—that’s about it.

Sure they fought on the Ostfront and they fought just as poorly as most of the other Axis powers besides the Germans. Anyone who has read more than a smattering of war memoirs or interviews with the Germans who fought near the Italians testified to this fact. The Soviets picked up on the disparity immediately and used it to their advantage often.

Half of the Western world was duped. Read the media of the day and the so-called “intellectuals” at the time and be amazed at their outpouring of affection for Il Duce early on.

Notice how I said intelligent people would want to know the answers. You have no interest in the answers.

I suppose that’s one way to characterize people who disagree with you. If it works for you, go with it.
