ghostas is now a ghostass?
He’s history!
Jeez what is this? Whack a troll day? LOL
Your apology for George Bush’s statism won’t wash. Not only did he give us No Child Left Behind, but the prescription drugs boondogle e.g. the greatest expansion in socialized medicince since Medicare, that is until his fellow statist Obama, pushed through Obamacare.
They’re out in force!
Force them to push for a restoration of all of our rights to secure our freedoms against an oppressive Government. I no longer want a repeal of all the gun laws on the books...
I DEMAND a repeal of them ALL. The 1934 NFA, 1968 GCA, Hughes Amendment, 1989 import ban, Lautenberg, and every POS “opinion” or “interpretation” of the BATFE must be eliminated. We gave Congress to the Republicans in 1994 with the assurances of undoing the damage of the AW ban. Nothing ever happened and THAT is why the Democrats control it now. We will give the Republicans one last chance to restore our rights... specifically our 2nd Amendment rights to back up the citizens when we say NO. If the Republicans don’t do it this time, don’t ask us to support you EVER again.
A sign of things to come. Media spin and trolls a plenty.
LOL!!
lol
Senator Harry Reid stuck in some nasty bills to other states to get a positive vote for the healthcare bill.
It seems that we, the residents of Nevada past, present and future, will be paying the bill for Nebraska’s Medicaid program IN PERPETUITY!!!
What I think of him as a man and as a representative of the people of Nevada cannot be posted on FR. Suffice it to say, his actions are reprehensible.
Dina Titas, the idiot rep who finally made it to Capitol Hill has literally committed political suicide with her decision to support the health bill. The two of them are not representatives of Nevadans in any way shape or form. They are, instead, traitors to the freedoms that Nevada has fought for since the Mormons established roads and forts to aid the immigrants, “way back when.”
I, for one, will do all in my power to uphold the courts when they sue the US Gov for exercising arbitrary power over the people. Or however it’s phrased. Governor Gibbons will sign his name to the lawsuit.
If it would help, so would I.
HEY! We need a script or bean or doo-hikie so we can post one of these like a .jpg or .gif.
Totally righteous ZOT!
I am not apologizing for George Bush. I am disappointed that he didn't throw the Clintons in prison or retaliate against the Democrats in any way. His decision to try to work with the other side as he had done so successfully in Texas indicated a naiveté that was surprising considering how strongly he defending his dad against the same folks. He simply did not understand the enemy.
Do you think Karl Rove is a statist? Do you think Dick Cheney is a statist?
Early in the game Bush, Rove and Cheney tried to change Social Security so that it would work rather than just being a continuing ponzi scheme that funded many other Democrat initiatives. They wanted to privatize only 4% of SS as a start. The media, the unions, and the entire Democrat Party demonized them and the idea unmercifully. That initiative didn't have a chance. After that, they realized they weren't going to be able to overturn 70 years of socialism in one fell swoop. So they decided the best they could do was to at least make the best of what they had to work with.
Prior to NCLB, the laws on education sounded good but they had no teeth and as a result they were ignored. A school where X% of the students did not pass the federally mandated tests for 3 years in a row were declared failed schools. They were then given more time to come up to standards.
The teachers then started teaching to the tests rather than providing a well rounded education and the Democrats always cried that the problem was not enough money.
What NCLB did was say that after 5 years of failure a school would lose all federal funding. Now that five years are up the Democrats and teachers unions are screaming bloody murder and working around the laws until they change them.
That is what NCLB did!
Medicare was a similar situation. The Democrats wanted national healthcare but by co-opting Teddy Kennedy Bush, et al., were able to get by with only a prescription drug program for seniors.
Not all is as it seems. Hopefully Rove's new book will reveal a lot of that and then Bush will have one of his own. Maybe then we will know the whole story.
long gone ass ghost, I think >.<
Been seeing a lot of long time members getting ZOTTED lately... many, in my opinion, should have been zotted long ago. But, JR is sometimes too kind :/
I was zotted once for posting something not even political.. was me asking for forgiveness for something I did as kid... (about me, when I was 13 or so years old... giving rum to puppies).. Wasn’t even harmful to anyone or anything (although, they obviously had hangovers >.<)..
That I see so much happen here that lets morals escape the bounds, especially since what I got zotted for, years ago, is amazing...
BUT.. since this is now about the constitution of the USA, and the lack of many people even understanding, as well as the ability to be able to read it, .. This takes precedence.
I hope and pray that we can take the country back to what it was supposed to be; The greatest Government/country in the world.
