"Industry practice"....what f****** morons the press are. I suppose next they'll bemoan the aut "industry practice" of charging inexperienced teenage drivers higher premiums.

Now that really ticks me off. We are already barely getting by. Adding another $50-$100 in health care costs is going to hurt.

So he’s screwing the young, the old, and the employed on behalf of the middle aged and unemployed? How is that a political winner?

It is mean-spirited.

“Even so, the pluses could outweigh the minuses. Some 2 million people under age 26 should qualify for coverage under their parents’ health plans. “

Oh, I see! So it’s ok that it will rise 17%, it’s only your parents that have to pay it.

Good God, this world has GONE INSANE!!!

I can’t believe I’m reading half the crap I’m reading in the news. It’s like every lefty has lost their damn mind since Obama became elected.

Those numbers sound artificially low to me. I’m expecting them to be at least 40-50% increases within a year.

But the provision to payback 80% of unused premiums will sort of do the same thing, while at the same time bankrupting the insurance companies.

Thank you, young people everywhere, for helping me pay for my expensive medical treatments, so I can live longer and bankrupt the country collecting social security checks and living off my pension, while I vote for people who make sure you keep paying for me.

Every story I read, this thing is a problem for everyone. Higher premiums, dropped coverage, doctor shortage, taxes on limbs.

It’s horrendous.

HOPE & CHANGE
He destroyed any hope for a job you will ever have, and he took the change in your pocket for good measure. Enjoy the ride to Zimbabwe Youth of America. I may be watching my country plummet into Hell, but I will have the pleasure of watching all of your snotty liberal suburban rear ends dragged into the flames with the rest of us.

I’m betting a fraction of a percent of those folks you are talking about actually have any health insurance, and IIRC they won’t be required to have it until the government will cover them, hence the push to pass the bill.

The person that wrote this doesn’t think the family insurance won’t go up for people that have kids?

What a dreamer.

And they know it. Surprised me, but my 20 year old daughter said as soon as the “health care” bill was passed everybody, she said, changed their facebook status to things like - we’re screwed and some other things indicating they are not just going to sit back and accept things. they are actually paying attention.

In a free country you would read about some lousy coverage and you would say the hell with that, I’ll look elsewhere.

But with this crap it’s all a bunch of well, you are getting screwed these ways but look on the bright side there is some good aspect.

In a free country you would tell the salesman thanks, but no thanks. Go sell it to the ones who want it and leave me alone.

They can take this nonsense and shove it.

The idiot kids are taught that Whites are oppressive, gay lifestyles are cool, global warming is real, healthcare is a right, housing is free for all, appeasement is good, and collectivism should be the “new norm”.

Screw you, Commie maggots.

You say you want a revolution
Well, you know
We all want to change the world
You tell me that it’s evolution
Well, you know
We all want to change the world
But when you talk about destruction
Don’t you know that you can count me out
Don’t you know it’s gonna be all right
all right, all right

You say you got a real solution
Well, you know
We’d all love to see the plan
You ask me for a contribution
Well, you know
We’re doing what we can
But when you want money
for people with minds that hate
All I can tell is brother you have to wait
Don’t you know it’s gonna be all right
all right, all right
Ah

ah, ah, ah, ah, ah...

You say you’ll change the constitution
Well, you know
We all want to change your head
You tell me it’s the institution
Well, you know
You better free you mind instead
But if you go carrying pictures of chairman Mao
You ain’t going to make it with anyone anyhow
Don’t you know it’s gonna be all right
all right, all right
all right, all right, all right
all right, all right, all right

We all need to make a point of mentioning healthcare insurance rate hikes to the twenty-somethings.

They were big Obama supporters and now they need to learn the ramifications of their lousy decision.

Seventeen percent is an optimistic estimate. Should Obamaoscare be allowed to happen, the costs to every family will be staggering. For all that expense, and for all the liberal hype about healthcare for everyone, the shortages of doctors and medical personnel will create a health crisis like we’ve never seen. Welcome to the Third World.
