Do the Republicans, or better, The Tea Party have a specific, boots-on-the-ground, precinct-by-precinct plan for watching the thieves and usurpers?
I really can't see us making it that far.
The real question is when, if ever, the people will start to ask why stay together at all……
As impatient as we are, we might want to concede a little time for some forces slowly moving in the right direction. I believe the TEA Partiers will likely only gain in popularity and influence, maybe enough to generate a rout of DC. As you're also no doubt aware, many States have begun to give the feral government some much needed blowback. Just ONE victory will probably set a course and clear a path for many to follow. This will take some time.
A larger question might be, how to "fix" much of the huge nanny state apparatus in existence without a good deal of pain and suffering of non-combatants? Families will need to commit to taking care of their own once again without the assistance of Uncle Sugar. The financial and economic ramifications to our consumer based economy could be devastating. All part of the plan to set the hook that will be very difficult to shake -- but not impossible.
The commies are bluffing, trying to discourage conservative voters. They are trying every dirty trick to split the conservative vote. It will only work if we let it work. They do not have the numbers or the power to do any of the carp they are threatening.
If the voters ignore the bluffs, we have enough votes to overwhelm their fraud.

It’s possible of course, and most logically achieved along state lines. However, the left, beyond wanting to freeload on the backs of others, seeks CONTROL of others. They aren’t going to let people out from under their thumb without a fight.

I read that excellent article by Williams and he doesn’t allow much for the restoration of our Constitution. There have been and always be, freeloaders. Without the cultivation and encouragement by the federales they are virtually powerless. Constitutional principles when restored will once again render them powerless to pick our pockets. As difficult as it may be, it could STILL happen. Dismantling the nanny state will be a formidable undertaking. Will the parasites feeding at the taxpayers’ trough learn to fend for themselves? ONLY if they have no choice. Either that or die, one way or another.
Restoration will come about faster following a separation.
The collectivists will be left with nothing but looters and takers,
and all the productive people will move to where they are free.
The former will collapse very quickly,
and the latter will already have the Constitutional principals in place.

Impatient is right. The people are organizing and state legislatures are starting to move. Reaction to tyranny doesn’t happen overnight.
It took the founders 25 years - from 1750 till 1775 - to organize, find
leadership and take on the British Crown.
Turning populations around is much like turning an aircraft carrier into the opposite direction. It takes time.
The system the Founders set up is moving and both lawful and legal remedies are being pursued. The “cease and desist” letter is being written and will be delivered to DC shortly. Let it play out and see what happens.
In the meantime, let’s not roll the guillotines down Pennsylvania Avenue yet.

If the parasitic class waits until the wreckage is cleared away, they may be obliged to cool their heels a spell, and might learn some valuable lessons in the process. I haven't given it a great deal of thought but my suspicion is the economic and cultural impact of getting even portions of the country back to its core principles will be enormous. How do we eliminate all the entitlements(not to mention the bloated bureaucracy) bankrupting the country that make up roughly half the US budget? Cold turkey? Someone with more brain power than mine will need to study the issue. The bottom line however may be that, regardless of how severe, the price we'll pay will be worth it to restore our Constitution and reclaim our republic.
I'm willing to give it til Nov 2010. If we don't see impressive movement towards restoration, well let's just put it this way, as old and out of shape as I am, I would begin an exercise routine. We may not be able to count on the younger crowd.

Don’t wait for November. Start morning walks now. Get yourself in the best fighting shape you can, according to your ability.
We have a very weak and stupid federal bureaucracy. That’s obuma’s “army.” If you haven’t looked, check out the BATF pictures. Most are tipping the scales at 300 lbs. plus. If ambushed, these turds in ninja clown suits will have trouble running 100 yards to cover. Most will collapse from strokes or heart attacks.
Do what you want, but our enemy is in worse shape than 75% of Americans.

Getting out to the mailbox and back is as often as not, a challenge. Several things contribute to that, not the least of which is a hip that goes on strike occasionally. Being a dedicated smoker for most of 50 years doesn't help but I have no desire to quit, either. At this point, it's just one of the simple pleasures(hack, hack) in life. Your advice is sound but I doubt I'll be running anybody down, or running away either for that matter. However, if they come for me or mine on my turf, they best come prepared.

We need to think about bridging the divide carved out by the Left. The enemy Left wants us at war with one another.
