Honestly? "Inner City youth" just aren't disciplined enough. Ditto the illegals. I'm more worried about the Chinese. We owe them an awful lot of money. I think that BO would sell us out to them in a heartbeat, particularly if it would help to cement his power base.

If you start to see articles touting "New levels of co-operation between the US and China" and particularly - "Military Exercises between the two countries reflect a new posture in talks between....yada yada yada" lookout.

Especially if any of the "joint training exercises" occur here in America.

can attest to that. My store was up in sales over last year last week, and down 50 percent over last years sales this week. Traffic is very low, but mothers day will amp up sales in the next week or 2. I do fully expect my average dollars per transaction to go down over the coming weeks.

I find it absolutely hilarious when media talking-heads yak about the future recovery as if business cycles are independent of what government does. The fact is much of Obama’s onerous to business plans (cap and trade, etc.) have not even been realized yet. Add to that future tax hikes and increasing regulations put on business and you have the makings of an economy that won’t budge or limps along. Many of the talking-heads have sort of a “gee whiz, I wonder why businesses won’t hire?” attitude that only provokes howls of derision from yours truly.

um, it’s 18,000 MORE NEW jobless than expected. The Total NEW JOBLESS is nearly a half MILLION. 18,000 sounds smaller so that’s how they phrase it. Its really 460,000 NEW Jobless, ON TOP of those OLD JOBLESS, Like me :(
