Gingrich & Romney are weak leaders (Mark Levin's appraisal)
Mark Levin Fan ^ | 4/14/2010 | Mark Levin Fan

Tuesday, Mark pointed out that Newt Gingrich is still defending his appearance in that stupid Global Warming ad with Nancy Pelosi.

Give me a break!

Then on Wednesday, Mark set his sights on Mitt Romney for praising Obama.

We don’t need a president that’s as wimpy as these two. We need a strong leader like Palin.

I wouldn’t want to vote for either of them.

He is getting older. We need somebody new. I am sick of all the same olds. I like Pauls ideas the best of them though.

We need someone of the frame of mind and strength of character of Mark Rubio and Adam West. Strong principled people who will actually lead, not rule, and turn this country around, not take us in the same direction slightly slower.

***********************

I recently heard Mississippi Lt. Governor Phil Bryant speak at length on the radio, regarding government health control, abortion, potential national bankruptcy, etc.

He was very clear, strong and principled, which is unusual in this state’s politicians. A man to watch, although I do not think he has national aspirations.

Ron Paul has stated Iran and North Korea are not a threat.
His major supporters and money people are 9/11 Truthers.
Paul voted against condemning Ahmadinejad.

We have enough anti war loons with the democrats.

Does Gingrich even stand for anything at all?
What the heck is green conservatism as being pushed by a Pelosi/Gingrich/Gore cabal?

Please, Please, PLEASE let the 2012 GOP nominee be someone better than Newt or Romney.

I’ll admit I have agreed with Gingrich from time to time on certain economic and defense issues. But he’s got too much personal baggage, too much political baggage (i.e. buddying up with Pelosi, etc.), and frankly I think his time is past.

Romney? The guy does nothing for me. I’ll admit he’s very savvy on business matters, and he would more than hold his own against Obama in a debate. But Mitt Who Wants To Be President has spent way too much time running away from Mitt Who Was Governor of Massachusetts, for me to ever trust him with my vote. And the talk that he’s the one guy who can bring Michigan back to the GOP is, IMHO, just that (talk). Having a dad as governor of a state 40 years ago does not automatically mean political coattails today.

Me, I’m still holding out for the moose hunter in 2012 (Sarah!).

So you think there is a secret cabal of conservatives holed up in the State Department managing our foreign policy? One day, about the same time you figure out the Easter Bunny isn’t real, you’ll realize that never ending wars are a necessary mechanism to consume fiat currency, and they have nothing to do with preserving our freedom.

Keep vigilant, for we know that the Rinos will try to push Romney as the token GOP nominee like they did flip/flop I am not a maverick McNut

Levin: “Sarah Palin is the one national Republican who doesn’t back down from these people.”

For some reason, he doesn’t think she will run, although he admits, “I could be wrong about that.” He is not often wrong, but in the case of Palin, I think he would be happy to be wrong about her running.

Levin: “So, Mr. Romney, we need to praise [Obama] when he is right. Give me ten ways he his right. I’ll give you 100 ways he is wrong.”

I step into this with great reluctance.

Reluctance because I am a huge fan of Levin. I listen to him absolutely every chance I get on my Sirius radio. He is brilliant, funny, and almost ALWAYS right.

I am also a huge fan of Sarah Palin. As much because of how much she annoys the left as anything else. I believe she’s right on the issues, smarter than given credit for, and represents what is good in America in almost every sense.

Now...please think about what I’m going to say before you respond....

Between Palin and Gingrich, HONESTLY, who would you rather see debate Obama? Who do you think really has the deeper grasp of all the issues and a superior ability to express the conservative position?

Be honest with yourself. Who is smarter? Who is more articulate? Who would fare better as a representative of conservatism and as a person to articulate the conservative vision and belief system.

I won’t answer. I’ll just ask you to ask yourself the question and try to be as honest with yourself as possible.

Hank

Yeah.
I am quite certain Gingrich, Romney and Pawlenty are running though, and probably Santorum as well.
Romney and Pawlenty have already started setting up their presidential run organizations in the various states.
Sarah Palin on the other hand, hasn't set up anything..yet. It should all start to unfold about a year from now. First to announce will probably be Gingrich.

Sarah doesn’t need a teleprompter.
The O does.

Sarah took care of Biden in that debate.

Have followed Pres. debates starting with the Kennedy v Nixon debate.
