Yeah, the comments are nuts!!! I found it intersting that many are saying the GOP hates Catholics, and that Newt killed his political aspirations with the GOP when he converted. Although there are some conservatives that are extremely bigoted against Catholics (some of them on this on site with the apparent blessings of the mods) the left is FAR more bigoted. And the left NEVER wanted Iraq to fail - they were worried about the soldiers, dontchaknow.
