Exactly. Obama’s plan for socialist USSA is no private property, bike paths for everyone, and ... trails hiking trails where you can take a fanny pack full of granola and become one with nature. The land he and mabelle michelle are walking on was donated to the National Park service by George Vanderbilt’s widow, for tax purposes. Railroad land.
Like Gore, obama wants everyone on public ticket, public railroad, public land, central control. Central bank control, bureaucrats everywhere and all of them working for his “crew” Asheville is one giant converted paradise... from idyllic mountain people with a rich Scotch Irish history to a collection of new age hippy dips who think we should all eat tofu.

But where will we all get the trust funds it takes to get all mystical and at one with nature?

Obama has to go, he is destroying our country. His next hat trick will be pushing amnesty and voting rights for illegals. That has to be stopped.

That’s what the Greenies believe. Obama’s real vision for America is one with ugly gray apartment buildings for the proletariat, where they have to hide in fear from the street gangs who operate in view of the police who will be more interested in your “counter-revolutionary ideas” than actual crime against individuals. It is an America where lush nature trails and beautiful forests are places reserved for the Party elite, who have “earned” it through their Party activities.

Oh, there will be bicycles in Obama’s Utopia, but they will be for city travel as we rush from our apartments to our government job at the tractor factory, so we can “earn” our daily rations.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Of course using those trails will be impossible because of the reintroduction of cougars, bears, wolves, and bobcats.

I attended a workshop with a woman from Asheville and others were looking for a place to move, She told them that Asheville was BYOJ, Bring Your Own Job.

Asheville is really a progressive wannabe place. They come and do poorly or actually fail. The place has tried to resemble it’s betters with all the trendy paraphernalia but pretty much doesn’t make the grade.

Being eaten by a bear is a fast way to “become one” with nature.

My wife and I don’t have as much free time as the Obamas. But sometimes we take an overnight to visit relatives in Hendersonville, NC. Often, I have hoped to take a couple of extra days and stay in Asheville.

Based on the reports of Obama’s visit, I WILL NEVER VISIT ASHEVILLE OR SPEND A PENNY THERE. It has proven to be exactly what I feared it would be. It’s not relaxing for me to have utter contempt for everyone I’m spending money with.

Where is the moonshine and the pot?

Short haired ladies and cupon clippers has colonized the town. It is known as A_Sheville more or less everywhere. It is to liberal for the folks at the NY Times to stomach.

About twenty miles north is the answer to your question re: the former. The latter probably can be bought at most supermarkets.

Move to Virginia, central Pennsylvania, upstate New York , Tennessee just vote with you feet. Get out of Dodge.

Middle-class my rump. Have you checked the rates for the Grove Park Inn? A cheap room is $250/night. How many of you middle-classers stay in $250/night hotel rooms when you go on vacation?
