My brother had a kidney transplant from a family member and survived 18 additional years to see his kids grow in to adults as well. You probably also saw the article in FR about how China is harvesting organs from convicted criminals, including Christians in the last few days. I’m not so sure I could find it again but I’ll check.
P.S. No luck finding the article I mentioned yet.
My husband and I cannot donate blood, plasma or organs. My children can’t do it for another 26 years (35 total). We lived in Germany during the Mad Cow epidemic.
Thanks for looking for that article. I’ll try to search on my own. It doesn’t surprise me one bit that the Chinese Gov’t would do this. It’s people are merely fodder for the state. There is no individual it is ALL for the good of the state — whatever those in power decide that may be.
Wanted to say I’m so very happy for your brother and his family. I honestly don’t know what I would have done had my mother passed when I was 16. Living alone with an abusive father? Praise God she lived, and Praise God for your brother being able to be there for his kids! And Praise God for the advances he has allowed us to make in regards to medicine and our bodies.

Thanks, unfortuately the rejection drugs he had to take ultimately got him in the long run. Hopefully, there have
been advances in this technology that reduce this affect now.
