Damn right-wingers! They’re everywhere!
I do not understand why Greece tolerates such lawlessness. People who are armed with Molotov cocktails need to be gunned down before they can hurt anyone.

Ahh, public employees at their best. All of this over a three year pay freeze and the elimination of yearly bonuses.
ho-hum; these Greek kids today can’t hold a candle when it comes to rioting and wilding compared to their fathers and mothers during the junta era.
In many Europeon countries there is an unofficial protocal between the demonstrator/rioters and government. For the gov these demonstrations are a form of venting that is better then all out revolution. For the unions it is their ability to direct their members frustrations on gov without forcing them to truly back a workers revolt. Both sides do not want civil war because it is unpredictable and no one can predict who would win and who would end up in front of a firing squad. So the protocal is rioters can throw rocks, firebombs and etc, but no fire arms. The police though under pressure are equipped with fireproof clothing, riot shields and etc to withstand any of the “approved” missiles the rioters throw at them and respond with tear gas and rubber bullets at worst, but no real bullets. You basicly have controlled rioting, where the unions can vent and government can demonstrate some semblence of control. Both sides hope the public anger will be vented and some calm will be restored. They (union/gov) have been doing this for years because the alternative would be unthinkable.
Actually, the status quo in Europe is unthinkable.
