One has to wonder if the fed has buy orders (via bank proxies) positioned for situations like this. That rebound was far to sharp and hit immediately at 10k.

Fed just has to be intervening. They want to protect all their bailout schemes they spent so much time and energy on

It is clear to me(opinion) that for some time the market was controlled or manipulated by the fed buying/selling stocks through their owned subsidiaries like merrill lynch. In my opinion they have now lost control of market forces and we are in a drive to get out. The cause has nothing to do with Greece. It has been caused by government policy to force lenders through such laws as the Community Reinvestment act (1980) TO MAKE CRAP LOANS TO MINORITIES.and then to guaranty those pieces of crap loans with Freddie and Fanny AND it was Barney Frank and Chris Dodd who actively stopped the regulation of those loans as being “RACISTS”!! Today is a disaster. At least it didn’t screw up “conca de mayo”

The bottom just dropped off in ONE HOUR.

I was on a call with some bankers at 2 when they said they were "watching the bottom fall out" and it was down 175 at the time. I said to one of the guys on our end that "it's not like it's down 500..." 45 minutes later it was down over 500. 15 minutes later down 1000... Unbelievable fall...

-—”Someone on Fox just explained the stopping point is 10%..which in this case would be around 1100 I think they said.”-—

Reminds me of an old Eagles song.

“Take It To The Limit”

All alone at the end of the of the evening
And the bright lights have faded to blue
I was thinking ‘bout a woman who might have
Loved me and I never knew
You know I’ve always been a dreamer
(spent my life running ‘round)
And it’s so hard to change
(Can’t seem to settle down)
But the dreams I’ve seen lately
Keep on turning out and burning out
And turning out the same

So put me on a highway
And show me a sign
And take it to the limit one more time

You can spend all your time making money
You can spend all your love making time
If it all fell to pieces tomorrow
Would you still be mine?

And when you’re looking for your freedom
(Nobody seems to care)
And you can’t find the door
(Can’t find it anywhere)
When there’s nothing to believe in
Still you’re coming back, you’re running back
You’re coming back for more

So put me on a highway
And show me a sign
And take it to the limit one more time

Take it to the limit
Take it to the limit
Take it to the limit one more time

And yet, the buying opportunites today will make some people very rich. They'll buy low and unload when the price goes up...The sharks smell blood.

Short term corp. bonds have outperformed the market for a decade.
I’ve been 80/20 the whole time. Been up every year even with the 20 dragging on it a few times.

HUSSEIN HAD A CHANCE TO WORK WITH EUROPE...AND HE SNUBBED THEM!

EU SUMMIT SCRAPPED AFTER OBAMA SNUB

Some of the turmoil in our markets and in Europe, perhaps even the deaths of those people in Greece can be laid at the feet of Hussein, who refused to meet with the continent's leaders.

He is the WORST president EVER.
