Brennan is so full of crap. He says the Obama Admin is good, not lucky, which is nonsense.
Brennen is ‘deflecting’ in response to the question about whether ‘we’ have been able to stop terrorists.
Brennen, instead of answering, bloviates about how well the military are fighting, yada yada yada.
John Brennan is not logical. The successful attacks
against America “show” the Obama administration policy
Brennan says at best America will “arrest” those who
blow up buildings in NY and DC in the heart of the American
Brennan claims Obama “stopped” the attacks, as he
quite conveniently ignores that Hasan was on HIS and OBAMA’s TRANSITION TEAM.
Brennan SUPPORTS the rights of terrorists to behead
Americans and blow up buildings with Americans in it.
Yep, Brennan is raising my blood pressure alright. He is such an empty suit - and to think he was part of the Bush Admin counterterrorism team. Wallace is doing a good job making him look like a fool.
Wallace bringing up recent US terrorist attacks including Hassan/Ft Hood and underwear saying Homeland Security HAS NOT “stopped them in their tracks”
Brennen talking very fast.
Wallace: Why is this administration trying to play down these attacks?
There should instead be criminal charges brought against him for blatantly issuing false information with the intent of driving up the stock price. Of course the government is complicit in this since they are the biggest stock holder. So the likelihood of criminal charges being filed are zero. Let's go after GM's competitors instead.
Why wasn’t Shitzad being tracked since he was always on terrorist websites? Oh yeah, he’s not a Tea Partier or a Republican.
Pray for America
Wallace asks about why this admin tries to ‘play down’ the seriousness of the 3 recent attack attempts. [Plays video of Napolitano saying they had no evidence that this guy (Christmas brief bomber) was anything other than a lone bomber.]
Brennan says Nappy is being as straightforward as possible and trying to reassure the American people that the Obamatons are on top of things. Yeah, right. I feel sooo reassured knowing Brennan and Nappy are in charge.
Huckabee signed the NumbersUSA anti-amnesty pledge during the 2008 primary in SC. I was in attendance when he signed it with Roy Beck standing next to him.
Note to David Gregory: You over rehearsed with Holder and it is showing.
Brennan defends Enemies of the USA saying they
are protected by SCOTUS. They have “rights”.
They (not Americans) are protected by the Constitution.
They (not Americans) are protected by the Obama administration.
Brennan is obviously hoping to be a lawyer for
al Qaeda after he leaves his position.
Brennan arguing with Wallace on NYC based trial of KSM.
Wallace says it ain’t gonna happen, why are you continuing to insist?
LOL. No, Holder, it’s not the “Wars of Law”, it’s the Law of War.
Wallace asks whether the massive drop on Wall Street was the result of a cyber attack. [First I’ve heard of that speculation.]
Brennen responds that there is no indication of that [cyber attack].
Brennan is a career CIA employee. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
Holder: Gitmo is a recruiting tool.
They honestly think people believe this stuff.
So if KSM is aquitted, Holder will go after him for unpaid parking tickets.
Lieberman up, contradicting Brennen, “We were lucky, we didn’t prevent the attack” Good work on quickly apprehending the terrorist.
Wallace asking about Shazzad being questioned for four hours before being Mirandized.
Happy Mother’s Day!
interesting tidbit here: (many in the intelligence community don’t like Brennan AT ALL)
“Others with ties to the intelligence community think Brennan who works in closer proximity to White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel than any other intelligence official is behind the push to fight back against political attacks on White House counterterrorism policy.
“There is tension between the intelligence community and Brennan,” a Republican member of Congress who has long worked on intelligence issues told POLITICO. “They just feel that he is trying to micromanage, and also playing somewhat of a political role.”
I should have counted the number of times Holder has said we are examining all of our options.
Lieberman praises Homeland Security, then says that they did NOT prevent the Times Square attack.
King complains that the Admin were putting out too much information, much of which should have been classified, about the TS bomber.
[We have to be thankful for incompetent terrorists who use shoddy equipment. Otherwise, the death count would be much higher.]
Jake Tapper tells Rudy mob is more dangerous/more successful than a terror attack, and they have more rights than terrorists.
I think you are correct. I still remember some NYC idiot, after 9-11, saying on camera that she could not imagine what America would do without NYC.
I don't want anything to happen to any of our cities, but the residents of those same cities keep voting for the idiots that will hasten their downfall.
That is ridiculous, unless he's talking about the mob in the white house.
Saw the sideline about Senator Bennett being in tears because he lost the nomination. Sounds like he would be ready for a party change, because it’s okay for a Democrat to get in touch with his feminine side. Besides, 3 terms and he wants to keep going back? He’e been there long enough. It’s time for another citizen to be a legislator for a few years, then return to the real world.
Huh?? Is he referring to ALL citizens or naturalized ones??
LOL. I know. Just being silly.
Only problem is he defines "terrorists" as anyone in the Tea Party, politically Conservative, or critical of Dear Reader.
Congressman King is very powerful on FNS today. I hope his words get quoted by the talk shows this coming week.
Katy Kay says that keeping an eye on Pakistanis coming in and out of the country is “racial profiling.” Could it not have something to do with the country of origin?
And by the way, muslim is not a race.
Good point, but he was specifically referring to the Alkida types.
Well in the sense it is better then any of the 3rd world hell holes the terrorists come from, I guess it may be a "recruitment tool".
Been doing the Sunday thread since I got here...
See my new tagline!
I know. I like your tagline.
I can't help but wonder why someone does not ask them WHEN Gitmo was established. I don't think 9-11 could be 'blamed' on it.
Not sufficient for Obama to just give speeches, needs to provide leadership.
Not going to be able to win the war until we are able to recognize who the enemy is.
Wahn blathering, defending Brennen.
Gitmo is trivial when compared to San Francisco.
if I heard that face to face,I’d knock his teeth out
No Republicans are doing everything they can to warn this Administration that they are making us more vulnerable to attack with their anti Terrorists strategy of “Relying on Blind Luck to save us”.
This Katty person says that President Bush tried hundreds of terrorists in civilian courts and no one criticized him.
Katty, we didn’t have military tribunals set up early on, and dems fought them continually anyway.
Most amazingly, when Cheney correctly noted that this
is a world wide terror network, Abu Juan “Let them
eat dog food” Williams sneered.
Then, Abu Williams launched into an idiotic defense of
Brennan and Holder when there is no logical defense at all.
Serial attacks on the homeland are ignored
by NPR and the MSM.
As to the Non Catholic daughter...
don’t say anything but ASK her how she “Felt”..what her “feelings’ were and then just listen. Also if the church has candles, let her light a candle.
He's been counting them since "Day One".
I share your “pain”....
Juan is echoing Katty about GWB tried ‘hundreds’ in civilian courts..........BUT NO ONEon the panel makes the point you just made that there were no military tribunals set up at the time.
