***My high resolution radar is picking up a donut signature, which is downright incredible.***

OH D-mn! The rare “COP MAGNET”! Get out of the way!

Ok, that was uncalled for but I just couldn’t help it.

The storm front is just reaching Tulsa (I’m at I-44 and S. Peoria)... and that “line” runs from Kansas to Texas ... hoo-boy!

And I just saw on the news, a few minutes ago (about ten minutes) that there are tornadoes in several places, along I-35 from Texas up to Oklahoma City ... (thereabouts)...

Anyway, we’re looking for it to hit pretty soon here in Tulsa. Oh... and just south of Tulsa, I think there was a tornado somewhere around the Henryetta area (not sure about that one).

Oh... and the hail... they were talking on the news that they had “grapefruit size hail” in one area of Oklahoma. Earlier they had been talking about getting softball size hail but they did actually get what they say is “grapefruit size hail” ...

Gotta watch that one... don’t want those marks all over the car, doncha know ... :-)

I didn’t realize you were so close! I’m at I-44 & Harvard! Howdy neighbor! We’ve got that awful color going on in the sky right now...but Tulsa looks okay so far.

I was in Okmulgee some years back and hail storm happened upon us.

I had a brand new car and drove right into the car wash.

I guess the roof was pretty thick because I was watching across the street, to a gas station and the hail was coming right through the covering and onto the cars under it.

I just stood there wide eyed and amazed. I also thought “Lucky me, this roof held up”.

Just talked to my Mom, she is North Tulsa and said it seemed fine so far but she was expecting WW III any minute.

Guess Doppler shows a real battle front that, like you say, extends KS to TX. That’s huge!

Stay in touch.

It’s pretty quiet right here, at the moment... in fact, some blue sky, even though it’s getting dark outside now. But I don’t know what’s coming down the pike, though ...

There was sort of a storm front that moved through this area of Tulsa (south), about an hour ago — but I suspect that the worst was both to the north and to the south of us. So maybe we missed it.
