Sorry....but I live near there.
And I cannot tell you how many times...I've heard "twister on the ground" and it's bunk.
That said....I do take them serious. I've seen the aftermath...locally. Not 5 miles from me..Thankfully..in pasture/wooded area.
Lived in Ark City, KS...when I was in H.S. Old Indian legend said....Action City would never get hit...as twisters wouldn't cross rivers. Ark City sits between the Walnut river and the Arkansas river.....
I've seen a twister cross a decent sized creek here in N.E. OK...so I know they can do it.
Anyhoo....we live here, we know the risks, we look outside a lot...during bad weather. One half mile can mean a giant difference.................................

Some of the composite indexes just scream major tornado potential, and it’s definitely appearing to be a bad one. Stay safe people...

Yeah, I used to be one of those crazy stormchaser guys, trained by the crazy meterologists / death defying chasers out of the Tulsa NOAA office. Those were some fun times.

No activity here in the DF/W area however gusty winds and moisture streaming north almost the whole day. Just praying/wishing for no damaging weather for neighbors to the north!
