When one’s religion doesn’t permit them to swear loyalty to their government they have no business serving at all.

Bingo. There is no right to serve in our Armed Forces. The islamic “faith” should be a disqualifier.

You nailed the problem, but could have said a bit more. No muslim can honestly pledge to “preserve, protect, and defend” the US Constitution. [Wording has changed, but I like the original form.] This means that no muslims should be allowed in the US military — or in any positions in any of our governments! [State, County, Municipal as well as Federal.] If not all govs require the same oath, they should.

Experience over the last decade or more makes it obvious that violence engrained in the Muslim culture. I cannot think of anywhere that a Muslim popultion lives in harmony with its neighbors. Those who don't themselves commit acts of violence (jihad) either actively or passively support those who do. Therefore violence is a Muslim/Islamic problem and it is the responsibity of the practicioners of Islam to solve that problem. As they seem to have no intention of doing so, they make it our problem to solve, which leaves them with no grounds for complaint. Just my take...

I swore to support and defend The Constitution of the United States of America.
I merely tolerate our government.
