Van Jones: Climate Change, Innovation And The Clean Energy Race
Gov Monitor ^ | May 23, 2010 | by Van Jones

Climate change has faced a perfect storm in the first months of 2010. Revelations about climate science coincided with an unusually cold winter in the northern hemisphere and the uncertain outcome to the global summit in Copenhagen.

We and our colleagues in the Global Climate Network of think tanks stand squarely behind the overwhelming scientific evidence which points to the heavy hand of humans in climatic changes that we can already see.

In the Global Climate Network study suggests that more than 20 million new employment opportunities can be created between now and 2020 just in low-carbon energy industries across nine leading economies. This will not happen by accident, but only through concerted action, including by government.

The massive economic potential in deploying new technologies, not least in terms of job creation, will help win people round. The clean energy race is on and we’re up for it.

Yes, an avowed commie weighing in on what the world needs to do to make things better. We’ll give him the full consideration and respect he deserves. That is, nothing at all.

“...We and our colleagues in the Global Climate Network of think tanks...”

Hey, small brained fellow, your “think thanks” couldn’t pass a science 101 class. Correctly listing the instances of demonstrations of scientific idiocy demonstrated by the science flunkouts infesting your facilities would require scientific notation (look it up, libs - it involves math).

Hint for the day, look up. It’s the sun. Check it out. It just might dominate any climate variances.

The global warming leftists still keep saying this, but never actually point to any actual science, and still will not submit to a public debate.

Yeah, lets base our Healthcare System on the Massachusetts Model (complete failure), our Energy Policy on the Spanish Model (utter failure), and our political Process on the Soviet Model (epic failure).

Either there's not too much actual thinking going on at these 'think tanks' or they think too much. In any case, this is what the deconstruction of a once great nation looks like. I guess it's the 'change' we were told to expect.

Meg Whitman must be thrilled and excited with the prospect of working with a person she considers “a genius”.

I pray we do not give her the chance.
