(Initial Focus on Employment Tax Compliance)
When the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) released its five-year strategic plan last year it promised a flurry of new attacks on the public in a variety of areas. Referred to by the IRS as “enforcement initiatives,” these attacks constitute the key areas the agency will target for increased audit attention in the years to come. What was a mere promise last fall of more audit activity is now a reality. The IRS just recently launched the first wave of audit attacks.
In reviewing the IRS’s strategic plan it came as no surprise to me that the lion’s share of this new audit attention would be focused on small businesses. What did surprise me is the level of aggressiveness with which the IRS intends to carry out the attack. The agency identified four specific areas that it will focus on. I reveal them here.
1. The mis-classification of workers as independent contractors (ICs)
2. Employment tax return non-filers
3. Payment of fringe benefits to employees
4. Payment of compensation to corporate officers

For decades, I have very carefully complied with every unreasonable regulation that the Congress and the IRS have created. That became a whole lot easier over the past year and a half as I got rid of all my employees. I won’t put up with that much garbage and paperwork for the sake of the relatively small sliver of profit that I am permitted to keep. My good people I helped set up in business for themselves (yes, they are technically my competitors now, and they’re good, and I refer clients I can’t handle to them). My Obama voter (I had one) got to figure it out for himself, and it went about as well as you’d expect for my worst worker and someone who won’t take initiative or responsibility at the same level as the rest.

They have a problem with paying for fringe benefits for employees? I thought they’d scream if we didn’t.
We are near a point that if the State or the IRS try to reclassify our Contract Installers as Hourly employees we are just going to close and declare bankruptcy. We are slowly divesting the Corp of its assets as we wind down the business anyhow. But I will be damned if I will submit to the strong arm tactics of the looters so they can fill their coffers with more of our money (as well as the money of our Contractors).

How about the new requirement that all small businesses that pay another company more than $600 must send them a 1099-MISC? If you buy a computer from Dell or Wal-Mart for your home business you now have to mail to Dell or Wal-Mart a 1099-MISC and send a second copy to the IRS.
This provision was snuck into the ObamaCare law.

Unjust, unconstitutional laws are null, void, and without force. Period.
There is no longer a moral imperative to obey this government. IT IS WHOLLY PERVERTED and MUST be OPPOSED by all means.
It is the DUTY of EVERY AMERICAN to OPPOSE ANY “LAW” affected by Barak Hussein Obama.
The entire Democrat Party should be considered a seditious cabal, and a criminal enterprise. The present government is unworthy of our trust, support or co-operation at any level.
It is now time for MEN to STAND and be counted.
