Nah, he was sued by someone and he asked Freep for legal help and didn’t get any, I think, and got all huffy.

I, along with Clintonsaliar (Connie Hair) were punked by the guy. I sent him several boxes of cigars for him and "his troops". When he was outed as a fake by some special forces guys (can't recall the screen name), they visited him and he was "encouraged" to send me a couple boxes of cigars along with $30 cash as penance.
I checked a while back and the threads have all gone down the FR memory hole......
Her last post was 13 months ago.

I signed on in late 2000, so I missed out on DITHF and all the early stuff. Hard to believe I’ve been here almost 10 years.
I actually tried to set up an account around 1998, but my browser crashed midway through the process and after that for a year or more it said my e-mail address was already in use.
I first found Free Republic through “Right Side of the Web”, remember that one?
