All right. Israel stopped the so-called peace activists who tried to enter its territorial waters and deliver arms to terrorists. Israel's semi-unarmed commandos were attacked in a premeditated fashion by armed "peace activists". The world, as usual, is already condemning Israel. Israel now has 600 "peace activists" prisoner. What should be done with them? Conventional wisdom says that they get released so that they may do this again and continue to spout more lies about Israel. After all, Israel can't afford to further anger the countries these people are citizens of, can it? My humble suggestion: Hold kangaroo courts and decide all of these "peace activists" are guilty of aiding and abetting terrorists and give them all 20 year sentences wherein they will be released into the tender mercies of the general palestinian prisoner population in Israeli jails, so that they will see their allies for what thugs they are. As their nations ask for their release, make it known that the only way they will be released is if Gilad Shalit is released by Hamas. Win-Win. They get these activists out of circulation, no more repeats by other so called peace-heros as the cost will be too high, and they break up the alliance between peaceniks and terrorists because it will be in the terrorists' power to effect the release of their allies, but they will refuse to do so. Any nation that would want its citizens freed, would have to make the right squaks about Gilad Shalit, something no nation has been willing to do yet.
Davy Jones.... imho
Can you show me an example? Everytime I hear claims, and after reviewing the "evidence" (via Pallywood), I always exclude such hysterical and irresponsible statements as yours.
dumb dumb dumb
Actually yes. Muslims have been attacking US interests since 1785, long before the establishment of the modern state of Israel.
Thank you Fee for some intelligent, factual information. It’s hard to believe that a group that generally is pretty savvy continues to ignore reality and buy into a fabricated story constructed to elicit emotional responses.
One idea in the item is very good. Israel now has a group of eminently tradable hostages. These, for the most part, are not individual terrorists who will go right back to their rockets and car bombs. A few are but they can be weeded out of the group of swapees. Unfortunately all the international pressure will be on Israel to release them without conditions and with reparations whereas Israel is the only country pressured in the matter of Israeli captives of the Arabs- pressured to make major concessions to get each hostage back. The Arabs will make two or three important terrorists the minimum part of a swap and don’t really care about the rest, especially the foreigners.

Send them all by air to any country of their choice, by El Al, at their cost. Full price. Back of the plane. Multi stop.
Summary execution.
There is no “legal” anything involved. International “law” is only the collection of various agreements between individual countries that may be “enforced” by the most powerful countries at their whim. The sinking of the Cheonan was not “illegal.” It was, however, an act of war. So was the attempted breaking of the blockade of Gaza. It is too bad that the blockade runners did not resist with RPGs and machine guns. There would then be no evidence of the nature of the “aid” until salvage operations could be done.
That would be lessons in competition swimming, specifically high diving.
“this conflict was ordained since WW2. Shoving Jewish refugees onto an Arab populated area invites cultural/religious conflict. “
Incorrect. It was ordained from the Old Testament days.
If you want to look at modern history and Palestine, WWII is an odd time to start. The crux happened during WWI when the Ottoman Empire, the controller of Palestine, lost to the Allies.
At this point, modern history shows the Allies and specifically the British as the new rulers. If you know history, wars lead to division of territory after larg scale wars.
The muzzies and Arabs lost in this regard and the rest is history. Balfour in 1917 and then the Mandate and then the UN Resolution. This stuff didn’t happen in a vacuum. We are where we are in history.
Put them in prison camps for about 5 years. Include some radical islamics in the camp. Let them get to know each other.
Israel made its own bed in 1967 when it did not push the Arabs out of Gaza into Egypt and out of the West Bank into Jordan.
The main idea I had, was to use these terrorists as hostages in order to get aid from some very indifferent countries in securing Gilad Shalit’s release. Now that it’s their own citizens on the line, they may be able to exert some pressure.
Agree completely.
Most likely, yes. The Mohammedan argument with the US is not about Israel and is not even exacerbated by the existence of Israel. Israel supplies a portion of the rhetoric but none of the substance or this Islamic War. Israel is legitimization, not cause.
Turkey should be kicked out of NATO for starters.
