I concur with the following response from my agent to Helen Thomas' lamentable remarks about Israel, and will no longer be working with Helen on our book projects. -- Craig Crawford

Thomas’ continued presence in the White House pressroom will be a continuous affront, a clear message that her evil views of Jewish people are tolerated by the national press and the White House. It will be a clear message to all the Jew-haters in the World that their bigotry is ok. It will also be a reminder of the hypocrisy and the extraordinary double-standards that exist in our “elite” news media.

I spent the weekend thinking about her comments and then it hit me.
When I was around 11 years old a Ku Klux Klan rally came to the area and I remember reading a newspaper article about the security, the burning cross and then what the speaker said.
I remember reading that Grand Dragon whoever said that the black people should ‘go back to Africa.’
Helen Thomas’s comment is something that a Klansman would say about black people, its as simple as that.
