Unfortunately for Mr. Dunn, she’ll probably file a lawsuit to contest the results of the election...even if she won.

Fortunately for Mr. Dunn, Taitz's track record as a lawyer ain't exactly sterling.

Orly will undoubtedly file suit thought I don't think Mr. Dunn has much to worry about. The words "Orly filed suit" tends not to inspire much fear in defendants.

I will admit that I am surprised she's doing as well as she seems to be so far. Then again, this is California, land of fruits and nuts.

Actually, she is nuttier than squirrel poop. How devoid of intelligence would one have to be to want this woman in public office?

My understanding of the California primary rules are that a voter without an official party affiliation can vote for whichever party they choose at the time they vote.

I’m hoping that her high numbers can be explained by cross voting mischief and uninformed voters.

From the League of Women Voters California website...

If you are unaffiliated with any party ("decline to state" or "independent"),

•You may request the ballot of the Democratic or Republican Party at the polls on June 8, 2010 or on your vote-by-mail ballot request form, or

•You will be given a nonpartisan ballot, containing only the names of all candidates for nonpartisan offices and measures to be voted upon at the primary election.

I vote decline to state and only got the non-partisan positions to vote for. I doubt may people went through the bother of choosing a party ballot this time, certainly not just to vote for Taitz.

So did I. She got more votes than I figured she would, which means she’s a force now in politics.

Dunn will only be one of many targeted by Taitz starting tomorrow. She'll probably target the entire California Republican Party, as well as every state election official.

Ho ho ho, what a lunatic! Silly woman thinks that the Constitution of the United States matters and should be enforced. Total moonbat! We’re Republicans, we don’t care about piddling matters of eligibility.

Unless somebody has managed to find some evidence that the (likely) winner cares about our Constitution?

Here’s what a conservative, Reagan appointed US District Court Judge said of Ms. Taitz: “This is one of several such suits filed by Ms. Taitz in her quixotic attempt to prove that President Obama is not a natural born citizen as required by Constitution. See U.S. CONST. art. II, § 1. This Court is not willing to go tilting at windmills with her.”—Chief US District Court Judge Royce C. Lamberth in dismissing the Quo Warranto claim in “Taitz v Obama”—April 14, 2010
Another conservative judge, a former Republican state Senator in Georgia, Clay Land, fined Orly Taitz $20,000 for abusing the court.
