Wow.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and may perpetual light shine upon him.
So, if the bishop feared his driver was a murderous jihadi, WHY WAS HE STILL A DRIVER?
Such an evil thought!
I bet they did.
The Muslims saw the gentleness, charity and selflessness of the Christians and they started comparing it to the message of hate and mayhem which the fundamentalists preach and it gave them pause.
They were about to say "wait a minute.........these people aren't the "Great Satan"............when the government stepped in and showed the missionaries the door.
"Love" is a word which figures little, if at all in Islam and it is a truly powerful force. The Muslims know it and it scares the bejabbers out of them. They're used to their irrational, vengeful Allah and any encounter with a merciful, loving God must be avoided at all costs.
You’re right, Cindy - they never sleep and the MSM never reports.
Thanks Gonzo for the thread.
They are so evil, Granny.
Prayers for Bishop Padovese. May he rest in peace.
I'm not sure about the time frame, but it sounds like he had only just learned about this driver's fundamentalism, and changed his plans so as not to endanger the Pope, and that's when the man attacked him. Maybe this is what sent the driver over the edge; knowing that he was going to miss a chance at killing the Pope.
It didn’t jump out at me — only because I look at jihad and the jihad world every day.

I’d have worked a bit faster if I found out my employee was a Jihadi...
God bless him, though.
Thank you.
You’re welcome.
And, on that note, why was Judas still an apostle?
For purposes not relevant to this discussion.
Why, it is very relevant. We learn from our bishops how to imitate Christ.
WOW! Thanks very much for the ping; post. Thanks to every poster/researcher/linker/educator.
Condolences to the family and friends of Bishop Luigi Padovese.
BUMP-TO-THE-TOP!
They need to be careful up there in Vatican Land.<<<
Yes, you are correct, it is indeed a dangerous era to live in.
There does appear to be more evil folks coming out of the woodwork, then we have of the good ones.
