Considering Obama views Britain in much the same way Great Britain views Gibraltar this is not too shocking. He stood Grodon Brown up for the scouts and loved the slave gift. The popular consensus is that £1 in every £7 in the nation’s pension pot is driven by investment in BP. Obama talks of slamming BP and we suffer.
London Mayor Boris Johnson, calls on Obama to end the “anti-British rhetoric, buckpassing and name-calling”.
David Cameron oozes out of a tap and drips:
“I completely understand the U.S. government’s frustration because it’s an environmental catastrophe.”
President Barack Obama says he’d have asked BP Chief Executive Officer Tony and want to find an “ass to kick”.
And so it came to pass that the Britons who thought Obama was The One are waking up to the realisation that he is a posturing, vain foreign man who takes the credit for all the good and none of the blame for all the bad.
Obama is not the Messiah, he’s a politician.
Meanwhile, Obama might care to get involved with the matter of Bhopal. Seven former executives of US-owned Union Carbide have been jailed for two years yesterday jailed for criminal negligence. The execs waited 25 years for justice to get them. And they can wait a bit longer because they were released pending a lengthy appeal. Thousands died and were maimed when pesticides leaked into the atmosphere. Union Carbide – no longer trading (it was taken over by Dow Chemicals) – was fined…£7,000.
Can Obama heal them?

Actually, right now is the similar conditions in the leadup to the War of 1812, except in reverse. Now, all we gotta do is seize some British sailors on some ships and claim they were American deserters.

While this is a true statement, the fact that it took the writer of this article to have his wallet damaged by the narcisist who is our president is a mere mortal speaks volumes about his perspective. He equivocates when leadership is demanded, giving away America and her allies’ interests to make him more popular with our enemies.
Obama stands for nothing except his own prestige, power and reputation.
I could personally care less about British pensions. It’s a total non-issue to me.
