We, in Arizona , know you're boycotting us -- but you really should come out here and see our Beautiful Sonoran Desert.

It's just gorgeous right now! We know you'd love it and maybe you can share what you saw with the rest of the country so they can love it too!

I vacationed in AZ last Spring. I’ll go back as soon as I can.

It’s horrible to see what is happening to the desert, which is indeed one of the wonders of the world!

Thousands of soiled baby diapers among all the other trash.

And why are the environmental wackos not protesting this?

What a shame.... It's amazing how illegal Mexicans seem to trash everything in sight.

First the crap on our laws, spit on our rules, steal our money, and then trash our country.

The Sonoran Desert is beautiful indeed. It’s a real shame what’s going on down there. What scares me the most is that it’s become a drug smuggling corridor, which exponentially increases the risk of violence.

Seizing on this “man-made disaster” and initiating a high-profile environmental clean-up could do a lot of political good for Arizona, Governor Brewer, and the battle for our borders.

Excellent! And it would “political good” that would actually be a social good, not self-aggrandizement at the expense of the nation.

It’s the White Man’s fault — only white people do bad things. At least that’s what the politicians and media tell me.

Some of those cacti are a hundred years old, too. Just trampled over.

I just got back from Tucson today. The desert is beautiful this time of year and fortunately I didn’t come across any of the Obama Superhighways in the photos.

Good! The quietness in the desert can be so wonderful as well.

Are you kidding ? They’d probably demand new laws to fine the nearest property owners if they didn’t keep the area clean.
