Saudi Arabia Gives Israel Clear Skies To Attack Iranian Nuclear Sites
The Times ^ | June 12, 2010

Posted on 06/11/2010 6:01:40 PM PDT by Strategy

Saudi Arabia has conducted tests to stand down its air defences to enable Israeli jets to make a bombing raid on Iran's nuclear facilities, The Times can reveal.

In the week that the UN Security Council imposed a new round of sanctions on Tehran, defence sources in the Gulf say that Riyadh has agreed to allow Israel to use a narrow corridor of its airspace in the north of the country to shorten the distance for a bombing run on Iran.

To ensure the Israeli bombers pass unmolested, Riyadh has carried out tests to make certain its own jets are not scrambled and missile defence systems not activated. Once the Israelis are through, the kingdom's air defences will return to full alert.

"The Saudis have given their permission for the Israelis to pass over and they will look the other way," said a US defence source in the area. "They have already done tests to make sure their own jets aren't scrambled and no one gets shot down. This has all been done with the agreement of the [US] State Department."

Exactly my sentiments.
And, Barry doesn’t seem to have any problems with significant force when it’s directed against the “right” folks. Case in point: he bemoans “tough interrogation”, prosecutes a Navy Seal who smacks a terrorist who killed and burned our civilian contractors, has ROEs in Afghanistan in which it’s almost impossible for our guys to shoot the Tahhhhleeeebohnnnn, etc. Yet, when it comes to Al Queda, it’s drones and hellfire missles galore! Women and children getting incinerated and obliterated as collateral damage? Hey, no worries! Barry’s even cool with having the UN (the vaunted “international community”) and even the ACLU screaming bloody murder.

Very bizarre stuff, no doubt. Here’s President Pantywaist, Mr. “There is not such thing as radical Islam” - guy who has a Natl Security Advisor saying there is no such thing as Jihad, or a war on terror. Yet, same guy is out-Bushing Bush when it comes to slaughtering Al Queda by remote control! For whatever reason, in his calculations, Al Queda is sacrificeable. Perhaps it’s not too far a stretch to contemplate that Iran might eventually fall into the same category. Especially if his hands are “clean” in the matter and he can also point to all the “reaching out” he did - “Let me be clear, I gave the Iranian leaders every chance to change course and join the international community” (can’t you just see these words on the TOTUS?)

You were saying ...

Saudis are more afraid of Iran then even Israel.

Yeah, the Saudis know that Israel will never attack Saudi Arabia, but they're not sure about Iran ... LOL ...

How are these nations lining up in light of Bible prophecy?

IMHO, we're quite possibly seeing the alignment take shape for the Ezekiel 38 War of Gog & Magog; specifically, an alignment between Russia, Iran, and Turkey is the core of the E38 Gang o'Thugs, and we're seeing just such an alliance form before our very eyes.

I've become convinced that the war of Psalm 83 comes first, however. The P83 alliance is basically a ring of Israel's neighbors, none of which are mentioned in Ezekiel. It is IMO highly unlikely that the E38 alliance (Russia/Iran/Turkey/etc.) would attack Israel, and Israel's neighbors wouldn't take part. Palestinians. Lebanon. Syria. All these are a part of the P83 anti-Israel alliance. I think it comes first; Israel neutralizes these nations, which explains why they aren't a part of the E38 alliance.

Hope that makes some sense. I go into a lot more detail about this very issue in my blog which is linked below.

I was reading a while back at Wikipedia about Islam. Most of their ‘holy’ booksit were transcribed from an oral tradition after hundreds of years. It’s not always clear that they were able to keep things intact (think of the game telephone for example).

There is also a portion of the texts that Sunnis put more trust in versus Shiites. I can’t remember which one listens to the Hadiths more, and which one listens to the Suras more. That’s at the heart of their problems, frankly.

One of the books (again I can’t ever remember which) is a collection of passages said by those who came after Mohammed. It is in there that you find that passages about the treatment of infidels, and the instructions to lie.

I was also looking at the list of the 99 names (attributes) of god in Islam at Wiki, and there was one in which they called him the deceiver. And that’s in the same part of their holy books that instructs killing of infidels as well.

It’s just not right... It’s chilling really.

Don't bet on it. The only thing Saudis' hate more than Jews is Persians.

I wouldn’t trust the Saudis as far as I could throw them. Wouldn’t surprise me if the Israelis had to fight them on the return trip.

Given the limited number of F-15 and F-16 I wonder what equipment the IAF will use. Perhaps specially equipped A-4 with CAP of F-15E?

"What’s in it for Saudi Arabia?"

The Saudi "royal family"'s continuance in power.

The muzzie whackjobs are their enemy also.
