Egyptian minister: Obama told me he is a Muslim
Before Its News ^ | June 10 2010 | Before Its News

Posted on 06/11/2010 10:01:16 PM PDT by NoLibZone

This was a statement by Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Abul Gheit on Nile-TV. It was made on the «Round table show».

This is the statement recorded:

Adul Gheit said he had a one-on-one meeting with Obama, where the US President told him that He was still a Muslim, the son of a Muslim father, the step son of Muslim stepfather, that his half brothers in Kenya are Muslims, and that he was sympatetic towards the Muslim agenda.

Adul Gheit claimed Obama told the Arabs to show patience. Obama promised that once he overcame some domestic issues, like the Health care reform, he would show the Muslim World how to deal with Israel.

Difference is, it’s not part of the Christian credo to lie to Muslims. It is part of Islam for Muslims to lie to Christians on exactly such things.

I did a Google search on the phrase “Mr. Obama recalled the opening lines of the Arabic call to prayer, reciting them with a first-rate accent. In a remark that seemed delightfully uncalculated”

First hit is this link (add http in front of it)

://select.nytimes.com/2007/03/06/opinion/06kristof.html

And the rest of the quote is there also:

..., Mr. Obama described the call to prayer as “one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset.”

Other places it is mentioned: (again, add http in front)

and the part in between the two quotes is “(it’ll give Alabama voters heart attacks)”

another interesting snippet from the above article is a quote from 0
“I was a little Jakarta street kid”

Hmmmm...

You were saying ...

Difference is, it’s not part of the Christian credo to lie to Muslims. It is part of Islam for Muslims to lie to Christians on exactly such things.

While Taqiyya is part of Islam, and not something that is part of Christianity -- I don't think that either Islam or Christianity wants to claim Obama for their group ... LOL ...

Obama is neither of them and none of them -- but to whomever asks, he is all of them ... :-)

In other words, he is an ardent adherent to Syncretism ...

Syncretism

Syncretism is the attempt to reconcile disparate or contrary beliefs, often while melding practices of various schools of thought. The term means "combining," but see below for the origin of the word. Syncretism may involve attempts to merge and analogise several originally discrete traditions, especially in the theology and mythology of religion, and thus assert an underlying unity allowing for an inclusive approach to other faiths.

Syncretism also occurs commonly in expressions of arts and culture (see eclecticism) as well as politics (see syncretic politics).

This most adequately explains Obama ...

I don’t think so, actually. His “Christianity” is black liberation theology.

Sure, politically he tries to position himself as a synthesizing moderate between competing extremes—but he’s no moderate. Like most Democrat pols, he’s masquerading as more moderate than he is because he can’t get enough votes otherwise.

Theologically, Islam positions Jesus as an earlier, lesser prophet before Mohamed. Therefore Obama can appear to be syncretizing, like a typical American religious liberal, when he’s really honoring Islam. Granted, his public denials and professions do a fair amount to confuse things—as intended. He is very calculating.

Ummmm..., I think you're not getting what an adherent to syncretism is ... :-) ... they take elements from all but are none ... you see ...

Obama would not qualify under any of them... being a "none-of-the-above" ...

Speaking of quotes, here is one from an interview in the Chicago Sun Times back in 2006 he made while returning from his trip to Africa:

He reflected on his trip at the back of a plane on Saturday, talking above the roar of the engines to the three print reporters who have been covering his trip.

Obama's next big international journey will be in 2007--he's looking at China, India and Indonesia, ``where ironically I actually have more of a childhood than I do in Kenya.''

... More of a childhood ? That implies he had some form of a childhood in Kenya. To have a childhood there, he had to have lived there.

Adul Gheit said he had a one-on-one meeting with Obama, where the US President told him that He was still a Muslim, the son of a Muslim father, the step son [sic! should read: "step-son"] of Muslim stepfather, that his half brothers [sic! should read: "half-brothers"] in Kenya are Muslims, and that he was sympatetic [sic!] towards the Muslim agenda.

With the exception of the first claim (that Obama was still a Muslim), the truth of all of these assertions is a matter of public record.

Concerning the first assertion (that Obama is still a Muslim): In all fairness, Mr. Gheit was probably merely stating his opinion about his perception of Obama's alleged "Muslimness," and not making a statement of fact / indirectly quoting Obama.

I consider it legitimate to claim that, as a child, Obama was, de facto, a practicing Muslim. Given the circumstances of his childhood, it is simply inconceivable to me that his step-father didn't require him to practice his religion, and I'm sure that young Obama dutifully complied (probably in accordance with his mother's wishes, as well). Since he was a child at the time, I would not hold that against him - if he would now at least openly admit that he was, at one point in his life, a practicing Muslim.

Regards,

When I see his baby and boyhood pictures, I always think he was such a cute little boy.

Those images are like everything else about him - lies.

Our Affirmative Action Kenyan Muslim President is so incompetent that he should certainly be harmless. He’s not. By equivocating “support” for Israel, he’s staking Israel out as a sacrifce to Allah. Israel may die, but not alone. The Fool-In-Chief may trigger something that will pass for Armageddon — or prove to *be* the final battle.

We The People of the US have what may be a more urgent Obama problem. Van Jones has called for “confrontational protests” against those of us who might oppose their final, violent takeover here. Obama must not be allowed to solve his domestic problems (such as rejection of his “Health Care” control program), or we will probably fall before Israel (leaving them with NO allies).

I should have attributed the paraphrase of Van Jones to Glenn Beck. Specifically to his Thursday, June 10 show. GB does sound like Obadiah. The other prophets said, “Repent, or these awful things will happen!” Obadiah just said, “These things will happen!” [Too late for repentance.] But our Obadiah is still worth a listen (unlike our Obama).

I was going to post this as an independent thread a couple of days ago, but I haven't been feeling so great so I saved it for another day. Might as well post it here.
Can you ping it for me?

Everywhere you look, you are seeing evidence that obama is not JUST an islamic sympathizer, but an actual participant with the leaders of islamic governments to foment war in the Middle East against Israel, an American ally.
I know there are some on this forum that have little to no sympathy for Israel, but consider this, He is ALSO the COMMANDER IN CHIEF of the DECLARED ISLAMIC JIHAD AGAINST THE UNITED STATES of AMERICA.

Just been trying to run down the story of the Egypt foreign minister talking about Obama being "still a muslim". No really big surprise there. Do you know if this thing is anywhere online in form of a clip?

Reply:
There is a youtube video out there but I'm not sure which one.
Sorry,
Daniel

“The American President told me in confidence that he is a Muslim,” said Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit on Nile TV."
Scroll down to Page 12

Excerpt:
My wife Rachel, who monitors Arab language broadcasts for Israel Radio, picked up a revealing statementon the “Round Table Show” on Egypt’s Nile TV.

Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Abul Gheit said he had a one-on-one meeting with Obama, who told him that he was a Muslim, the son of a Muslim father and stepson of Muslim stepfather, that his half-brothers in Kenya were Muslims, and that he was sympathetic to the Muslim agenda. He asked the Arabs to show patience.

Obama promised that once he overcame some domestic American issues (like healthcare reform), he would show the Muslim world how he would deal with Israel.

Pro-Arab, so-called Christian presidents are one thing. But how concerned should we be if the US President is a Muslim who is loyal to the Muslim agenda to isolate and weaken Israel?

When the Palestinians talk about nothing but war with Israel and its annihilation, and the president of what was our strongest ally backs their demands for a state with Jerusalem as its capital, and adheres to the same faith, should we not be warning the American public?

By Victor Mordecai

This is Mordecao's Bio. Only posting a couple of snippets:

Dennis Avi Lipkin, alias Victor Mordecai was born in Flushing, New York, grew up in the greater New York City area and moved to Israel at age 19 in August 1968. Avi completed high school in New York and two years of college at New York University, Washington Square majoring in Sovietology and Spanish/Latin American studies at Hebrew University in 1971 (actual graduation in 1973).

During the period 1989-90 Avi worked as senior editor and translator in the News Department of the Government Press Office as part of Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir’s Office at Beit Agron.

Avi has written four books: Is Fanatic Islam a Global Threat? Christian Revival for Israel’s Survival, Islamic Threat Updates Almanac #1 and Israel’s Bible Bloc. The first three books were written under the pen name of Victor Mordecai for security reasons, but writes the fourth book under Dennis Avi Lipkin since he is running for the Israeli Knesset elections at the head of a Judeo-Christian Bible Bloc party called “Gush Hatanakhi” in Hebrew.

. Avi is married to Rachel, and Egyptian born Jewess who made Aliyah (immigrated) to Israel in 1969 and has worked for Israel’s Radio service in Arabic for the last 25 years monitoring Arabic language broadcast on radio and TV as well as newspapers.

Who do you believe? They are all freaking liars...

Yeah... but I believe the egyptian minister.

If the Messiah really switched to Christianity out of Islam, he would be an apostate and liable for assasination by Muslims. That has not happened nor is there even a hint that will happen.

The Egyptian minister knows for a certainty what we do not.

But he wasn't merely stating his opinion or perception. It says very clearly the US President TOLD HIM...
...and what's with them capitalizing 'He'? Isn't that reserved for referencing God?
