Clyburn: 'Elephant dung all over the place'

House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-S.C.) today repeated his earlier suspicions that the Democrat’s Senate candidate in South Carolina might have been a “plant.”

“I believe he’s someone’s plant,” Clyburn said this morning on CNN’s “State of the Union.” “I saw in the Democratic primary elephant dung all over the place.” Clyburn has called on state officials to investigate how Alvin Greene won the Senate primary last week. Greene, who was essentially unknown before Tuesday’s primary, is unemployed and is allegedly facing felony charges for showing pornographic images to a college student. Clyburn said he suspects campaign laws were broken by Greene, who allegedly tried to pay his registration fees with cash and had no previous political backing in the state.

Wasn’t Clyburn also the one who claimed he heard the “N” word at least 15 times while walking across the street during the healthcare vote? Then claimed later (to Olbertard) that he was receiving racist faxes, but never showed any of them?

Even if this accusation is true, and with the left any accusation aimed at Republicans is "true" because their central problem is their inability to discern true and untrue, the Democrats have been planting ringers in their own races and in GOP races in the Carolinas since just before the Fall of Rome.

I think the time has come to take a look at the perverse relationships between Party and State. The state has no business playing any role in deciding who is and who is not the nominee of political Partys, or what constitutes a political Party.

The primary system, most spectacularly the presidential primary system, is manifestly unconstitutional - it comes very close to being an establishment of religion.

The taxpayers shouldn't foot the bill for the nomination process. A Party should nominate it's candidate using whatever method it decides is reasonable, as in a convention, and then the Party can pay the filing fee.

If I had a supply of elephant spoor, I would be happy to shovel enough to block Clyburn's driveway.

All that happened was that liberals flocked to vote in the high-interest GOP governor’s race to cause trouble, leaving almost no one at home to vote for for Mr. Rawl.

“Greene” is a historical and patriotic name in South Carolina history, those walking into the polls without a clue and confronted with the Democrat ballot voted for him.

The totals in the Democrat primary were very small compared to those in the simultaneous GOP election.

Possibly this was simply a dress rehearsal to debug an election rigging system controlled by someone other than the DNC.

That is what scares them.

Interesting that they paint the right as illiterate dolts, barely able to keep the front of our shirts clean. Then, when they step is the elephant dung as it were, all the sudden we are evil geniuses.

Also, if this guy is a plant, where did they find a black Republican? There aren’t any in the party according to Olberblow..

Somebody should tell James Clyburn (RAT-SC) to stop worrying about the World Cup soccer commute and starting earning his pay.
