Bush daughter 'glad' Obama health care passed

One of the daughters of former President George W. Bush isn't following the Republican Party line when it comes to the issue of the health care legislation that cleared Congress last spring without any GOP support.

In an interview on Fox News Sunday, Barbara Bush said she's "glad" Democrats passed the massive spending measure and President Barack Obama signed it into law.

"Why do, basically, people with money have good health care and why do people who live on lower salaries not have good health care?" the 28-year old said.

"Health should be a right for everyone." Asked specifically what she though about the president's health care initiative, Bush replied with a smile, "That is a good question - obviously the health care reform bill was highly debated by a lot of people and I guess I'm glad the bill was passed."

In the same interview, Bush said she doesn't see herself ever running for political office.

Good!

One would imagine she'd not get much Republican support.

This is a problem ~ guy gets elected to public office, he's away from home much of the time, either in Washington, or campaigning, and who's teaching his daughters what?

Why it's the Leftwingtards at the schools telling them what to think.

Darn, I guess they’re all stupid. Pathetic losers that sell their country down the river (their inheritance in other words) for a mess of pottage.

I’m beginning to think the Bush family is as st00pit as the libs made them out to be - especially the women.

It does honestly say something about her parents.

People try to say that the children are no representation on the parents, but they are.

Same goes for the Cheney offspring.

It’s people her age who will suffer and pay the most under Gov run health care. Dang that ironic justice thing.

Looks like Bush did a poor job raising his daughters in addition to being a poor President.

There is no hope for most of our kids in their twenties. They are products of the public school and socialist college professors. They truly believe millions of people are starving in this country. (Sure, just look around Walmart.) They truly believe the evil rich folks are keeping poor people down. They truly believe that poor folks and illegals are being thrown out of emergency rooms and denied care. They’ve been brainwashed.

A chip off the old block(head). Guess she spends a lot of time dicussing politics with her grandma Barbara and mother Laura who supports the nomination of Kagan and thinks that the Arizona Illegal Alien Law is wrong.

THe Bushes are globalist blockheads - every last one of them and although I hate Obama and want him OUT, I DON’T miss her idiot father.

She has an opinion shared by many. Kids aren’t clones of their parents as we have learned via Reagan, Bush, McCain, and many others.

She was asked, she answered. I say leave her be.

"Health should be a right for everyone."

The bimbo probably meant to say "health care should be a right..." ...although she certainly hasn't earned the benefit of the doubt.

She doesn’t understand even the passage of healthcare, the rich will still get good healthcare while the lower classes will be subject to crap care.
