I think it's cool that Elton John and Rush are Buds.....
“And maybe if I can make a great impression,” Furnish quoted him as saying, “people might change their perspectives on life.”
Sir Elton is sure to change Rush...
Rush himself talked about the wedding today.
Rather than listen in and report Rush’s words, they go by a second hand account from Elton John’s boyfriend who did not go.
Figures.
Money talks.
Many of us have gay friends (whether we know it or not)...
“Many of us have gay friends (whether we know it or not)...”
Hate the sin, love the sinner.
“And maybe if I can make a great impression,” Furnish quoted him as saying, “people might change their perspectives on life.”
...you mean like going along with healthcare, cap and trade, wealth distribution, huge deficits and all out Marxism? Not likely.
Pet peeve # 234....You do not send someone an invite, you send them an invitation. Invite is the verb.
Pet peeve # 1..."that's where I am at."
Never end a sentence with a preposition. Mrs. Matthews Pine Orchard School 1968.
In case my FRiends wanted to know.....
“Many of us have gay friends (whether we know it or not)...”
No, probably not. Since there is only roughly 5% of the population that is really gay, you would have to have a shipload of friends to have any who are gay (whether we know it or not)...and of course, if they were, in fact, friends, we would know.
Any man who has been married as much as Rush has nothing to say about how anyone else deals with their private life. Funny thing is I never hear him bashing anyone cept for those who demand special treatment or who want to push their BS onto others.
I have gay friends and gay relatives.
I love them very much.
As long as they don’t try to force their philosophy and lifestyle on the yutes, it ain’t my bitch...
As long as they don't try to remake society in their own image, then I say, I could care less who somebody sleeps with.
You are a kindred spirit. Those are some of my peeves as well.
Limbaugh’s social life is like Newt’s. Both brilliant guys but..
Elton is an entertainer who loves money and since his music has been pretty dead lately he had to go where the money lead him. If he was an artist he would still be making good songs.
Perhaps he’ll make a great impression on his liberal pals, and they’ll see we conservatives are nice folks after all. Right.
