The administration's failure to take impressive action after the spill dinged its reputation for competence. The president's failure to turn things around Tuesday night with a speech damaged his reputation as a man whose rhetorical powers are such that he can turn things around with a speech.Maybe he had that reputation with YOU Peggy; as for the rest of us, he's the same big-mouth airhead that we knew throughout the campaign.
Mr. Obama needs Mr. Bush in the corner and doesn't have him. That's part of why he looks so alone out there. No, the reason why he looks so alone out there is that he doesn't have a friggin' clue. He never did. He is the great kibbitzer. The loud mouth who is always telling other people how to do things, but who never did anything noteworthy in his life - other than run for office.
Snakebit my ass. He is an incompetent fool.
We could have had an Olympics in Chicago had he just stayed home and done his job in the WH. Instead he presented himself as a reason Chicago should have the Olympics, and cost Chicago it’s chance to host the games.
He threw nearly a trillion dollars at the recession - and made it worse (OK - so he threw a trillion dollars to Democrat causes and supporters, but we were told it was to stop the recession).
He took over GM - and made it worse.
Look at his failures endorsing candidates. He is toxic to election hopes. That isn’t ‘snakebit’ - it’s a ‘reverse Midas touch’.
Yes it was. The Georgia Jerk did not support the Shah so we got Khomeini and all of the subsequent problems in that part of the World.
Noonan is just one more self dealing paper pusher.
Ah, so Obama-pom-pom Peggy now thinks Obama is snakebit by fate? How about the fact that fate always throws presidents curveballs, and Obama is unable to hit them? Something real conservatives spotted in Obama early-on?
