The White House’s own account of what was said was not all that different from Kyl’s:
“No, the President didn’t say that. Senator Kyl knows that the President didn’t say that. But what everybody knows because the President has made it perfectly clear is that what we need to do is everything that we can to bring about comprehensive immigration reform. And that includes not just securing the border, but doing a lot of other things.”
In other words, the President himself is tying immigration reform to securing the border.
The WH will be calling the Glenn Beck “red phone” soon. LOL Beck’s show today was astounding, compelling, and downright impossible to refute. You just CAN’T make that stuff up. Awesome.
Making any deal with Obama would be a disaster to whoever he made it with. La Raza will accept nothing less than an open border.
You know and I know - in fact, we all know - that as a lawyer Obama has many ways to say the same thing.
No border security UNTIL the immigration laws are reformed and amnesty granted boils down to this: CHICAGO-STYLE PAY TO PLAY.

I was at a meeting today with several people who have worked with Kyl. One is running for a high position in AZ. They all said, without hesitation, that Kyl is as honest as they come. You can disagree with his policies, but nobody ever questions his character.
I hope you're right. However now that 0b0z0 has drawn the line in the sand....either he is lying or his thugs claim that Kyl is lying....I hope that Kyl comes firing right back as soon as possible and challenges 0b0z0 directly by calling him a liar. Personally I don't think that Kyl or any Repub senator have the balls to challenge 0b0z0 directly. I think that Kyl will quietly retreat, remain silent, and hope the story dies quickly. And if that happens, then the RATs & the commie pig RAT bastard 0b0z0 will have won another round.

EXACTLY. I couldn’t get over that Meygan (sp?) Kelly AND Charles Krauthammer BOTH missed this! The brains at the White House figure they can call Kyl a liar if they parse his account. It makes perfect sense that O said exactly what Kyl reported. It’s what Obama’s been saying all along.
Ask Arizona Governor Jan Brewer about Zero’s lying. He lies to her repeatedly.

The White House will make him "a deal he can't refuse." Watch for Kyl getting the Bibi Netanyahu/BP executives treatment alone inside the Oval Office shortly.

Several Senators have learned of a possible plan by the Obama Administration that would provide a mass Amnesty for the nation’s 11-18 million illegal aliens. Led by Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), eight Senators addressed a letter to the President asking for answers to questions about a plan that would allow DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano to provide an amnesty if they can’t secure enough votes for a bill in the Senate.
The letter that was sent to Pres. Obama earlier today asks the President for clarification on the use of deferred action or parole for illegal aliens. The executive actions are typically used in special cases and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis, but if 60 votes can’t be secured in the Senate to pass a mass Amnesty, the Administration may use the discretionary actions as an alternative.
