A defiant President Barack Obama says he'll defend his new health care law against a Republican campaign to repeal it.

Obama told a White House audience Tuesday: "We're not going back." Speaking at an event marking 90 days since he signed the law, the president said. "I refuse to go back. And so do countless Americans..."

The administration also unveiled regulations carrying out a series of new consumer protections in the law. The so-called 'patient bill of rights' includes a prohibition on denying coverage to children because of pre-existing medical problems.

Republican Sen. Orrin Hatch of Utah said it's not a bill of rights, but "a bill of goods that the American people aren't buying."

Actually, it's becoming easier to count them all the time, since the numbers are decreasing to under %40 of Americans.

He may be able to inflate that 30% somewhat by having them vote multiple times, including the illegals, deceased and other fraudulent ballots. If so, then let him find or create the fraudulent tax dollars to pay for it.

As I recall, this thing passed by a margin of five votes or so. The same five vote margin can be used to defund it and, short of using his unspent porkulus money, there isn't a whole lot he can do to counter such an action.

Actually, he will have probably spent more on leading up too and during his big GAY BASH at the WH tonight than on the Gulf disaster which is still going on - and he's now treating it like : “Hey, I got BP to pony up. I'm done.”
