Is Home Depot seeking to introduce children to the homosexual lifestyle?

The home-improvement giant has sponsored yet another "gay" pride event and provided children's craft workshops "in the midst of loud and boisterous gay activities" at the 2010 Southern Maine Pride Festival in Portland, Maine, according to the American Family Association.

Seems like they pulled a ‘homo promo’ some time ago. I’ve avoided them since then.

Another reason not to go in there, besides their stores are disorganized and they have poor selection. I always thought sodomites were fastidious.

There is a link to the homo page listing Home Depot as a sponsor.

I still have local hardware stores in my neighborhood. People think I’m crazy that I buy stuff from them vs. Home Depot, Lowes and the other big chains. But I have found things there that I can’t get at the chain stores. For example, my furnace requires an odd-size filter. Lowes and Home Depot don’t have it, but the hardware store down the street does. And I also received some excellent advice on paint and how to use certain things. Good for someone who is all thumbs like me when it comes to home improvement and maintenace.

It is tragic that Home Depot is forcing children, against their parent’s will, to attend a Gay Pride Fest.

Same here. Besides, where I live, the new Lowe’s is a lot closer than Home Depot (and there’s also an OSH nearby).

Both parents will?

Or one of the parents out on a date?

I’m still using one of their $10 torque wrenches. And I’m thinking pretty seriously about buying their 18V cordless drill at half the price of a comparable Craftsman. Plus a trailer frame, on which to build a small tent trailer... the list goes on and on.

The more time they can keep you in the store looking for something, the more chance you will stumble on some impulse purchase they are pushing.
