Mike Huckabee said Sunday he's the strongest Republican to take on President Obama in 2012.
"I end up leading a lot of the polls," the former Arkansas governor told "Fox News Sunday." "I’m the Republican that clearly at this point does better against Obama than any other Republican."
Huckabee said he hasn't made up his mind about running, but suggested he's strongly considering it.
“I haven’t closed the door. I think that would be foolish on my part, especially when poll after poll shows that there is strong sentiment out there," he said.

I like Huckabee okay as a person; but this obervation almost deserve a ‘barf’ alert.
It's one thing not to agree with Huckabee on certain issues but to imply he is a bigot is not only nonsense, it is the sort of horse manure one expects from liberal nit wit.

Well stated. That’s exactly how my wife and I view him.
Did you see the show? I just saw it and this gives a false notion of what he actually meant.
What he was said was that even though polls show him the most likely to defeat Obama, there are other considerations that give him pause about running, such as the debt he still has from last time. But he agreed he had not ruled it out.
The MSM, as usual, is not being fair to a Republican. What else is new.
