What does the NRA think it is doing? There has to be one person in the organization that is driving this because this is far out of line with rank and file NRA members.
There are other great pro-2nd Amendment groups like Gun Owners of America, Right to Keep and Bear Arms, and the Second Amendment Foundation.
If the NRA can’t stand against a clear gun control justice like Kagan then they are not defending the second ammendment.
I got a beg call from the the NRA this weekend. I gevethem a piece of my mind on their support for McCain, their compromise of principles and the
Kagan issue. Told ‘em not a dime to their orgainzation going forward, and that I would be cancelling my membership. Enough is enough.

I am not a life member like libstripper, but I am currently a member with a 2 year agreement.
With the DISCLOSE ACT compromise, the NRA just lost me as re-upping member. And this puts icing on the cake.
Is there another 2nd amendment organization I can join?
