Perry is not who I would like to have as Governor, as I want someone who will stand up to the Feds, throw them out of the state, withhold all money going to Washington, and insist on the 10th Amendment - no compromise. Perry is not it. I will vote for Perry, though.
The other choice is a rabid RAT who is a flaming left wing nut job. I cannot think of a single situation that would cause me to vote for a RAT over a Pubbie at this point in any contest. White is all about being a sanctuary city, pro-homo, etc, etc.

Bill White is NOT conservative - at all. And certainly not ‘more conservative’ than Perry.
Also - there’s no way you passed 7th grade in TEXAS is you don’t know about Sam Houston.

Bill White might be more conservative than Obama, but certainly not more conservative than Perry.
I work in Houston and his protection of illegals have only made it worse. He run the city deeper in debt and let the necessities fall short while spending money on social programs.
He is very liberal and not a friend of Texas.
We could do better than Perry and the primary choices were pathetic. But White would be far worse than Perry.
It is like complaining about President Bush’s spending so we elected Obama for a change.
