Impeach Obama!

Sounds like a great idea. He won't step down because Slick Willy" didn't step down. Just think, we have of the 2 backups (Biden and Pelosi) would be waiting in the wings.

I so hope you are wsrong but as you point out with everyone looking on and knowing it is wrong the House did deem a non existent budget passed.
so sadly this could happen

I simply don’t see how this stuff is allowed. We, average people, should be able to rely on the 5th estate to bring this sick corruption to the front.

THANK GOD FOR FREE REPUBLIC

It’s a stupid argument they are trying. How can states picking up people who are violating federal law possibly be “usurping” federal authority?

What I expect next is that some enterprising defense lawyer is going to grab this lawsuit filing, and use it in court for his client.

“Yes, judge, my client was picked up by local authorities based on a warrant issued by the FBI. And as clearly indicated by this federal court brief, local authorities have no standing to act on federal law, and are usurping federal authority if they do so. Therefore, my client should be released”

"...maybe Obama and Holder would like to tell us what other federal laws they don’t want the states to enforce..."

I'd recommend that nasty old NFA as a good place to start.

And yet cities and States are free to make their own gun laws despite an enumerated right. That and sanctuary cities.

Makes me want to spit nails.

”The filing is expected to include declarations from other U.S. agencies saying that the Arizona law would place a undue burden on their ability to enforce immigration laws nationwide, because Arizona police are expected to refer so many illegal immigrants to federal authorities.”

By Obama's "reasoning", businesses shouldn't be able to turn in counterfeiters because it would burden the Secret Service.

Holder will have shopped this complaint to the first and foremost Federal Court he can assure himself of agreeing with him

I'm not so sure. The judges at the U.S. District Court for Arizona trend towards supporting anti-illegal immigration laws. And Sen. Pierce did his own homework while writing the law.

I’d ask “whose side is 0bama on” but we know the answer to that already.

Gov Brewer should go on TV and ask that question. Anything to put that phony SOB on the defensive.

There's absolutely no doubt whose side Obama is on. And it isn't ours.

This is a states’ rights issue of the first magnitude and should be closely watched by citizens of all states. If the feds prevail here, then the concept of a “sovereign” state” is null and void and we’re all just satellite provinces of the great federal nanny.

And that would literally be the death of the United States. We are 50 independent nations united for the common good, not 50 parts of one greater whole. From time to time we all need to recite the words “united” and “states” while remembering the difference between the two.

Draw a line in the sand and stick to it, Arizona. You have no idea how strongly the American people support you in this dispute. No idea at all. Let’s rock!

The voting rights of Americans against the “New Black Panthers” among others!

Each loss like that is a stepping stone to CWII.
There is no way people will put up with this crap for much longer.

This is great news for all Tea Party candidates and a few repubilcans too. 62% of the PUBLIC think AZ is right - this legal battle will plan out during the election season. YEA. A conservative supreme court will have no problem with the law.

States can pass environmental laws, if they are as stringent or even more stringent than Federal laws.

Do you really want to open this can of worms, Holder?.
