She doesn’t need to be cordial. He is trash and has trashed Bristol in a very public way.

He is just trying to get back in the fold to snoop for the left to give them personal info before the 2012 elections.

Shutting up and not bothering them anymore accept to pay for and visit his kid would be a real way of apologizing.

EXCLUSIVE VIDEO INTERVIEW: Sarah Palin Resigned Due To Marital Troubles, Says Levi Johnston EXCLUSIVE VIDEO INTERVIEW:

Sarah Palin Resigned Due To Marital Troubles, Says Levi Johnston -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Posted on Aug 10, 2009 @ 09:23PM Sarah Palin's marriage has been in trouble from the beginning, says Levi Johnston, the father of their grandson Tripp and ex-fiance of daughter Bristol.

What's more Levi told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive video interview that he believes marital problems were behind Palin's decision to resign as governor of Alaska.

When we asked if the couple had marital problems, Levi responded: "Oh yeah. There have been from day one."

RadarOnline.com then asked if Levi thought marital problems were the reason she stepped down from political office. Levi answered, "Oh yeah I do."

He didn’t stop there. He also told RadarOnline.com that he thinks Palin will be chasing an even bigger paycheck now that she’s out of public office and on the speaker circuit. “She took the money,” he said. “That’s what she’s talked about, that’s what I’m gathering and I think that’s what she’s doing.”

Sure he may be sincere, but more than likely he just wants to recharge his value as a Palin household insider. This is the only marketable asset he has. If Palin wants a political future she should publically forgive him, but privaltely keep him at a distance. Trust but verify, keep the enemy close as possible without providing pivileged knowlege.

It’s sad because this creates a wedge between mother and daughter.

Well, if she was mature, she would tell Levi adios.

I would think the amount of Money Sarah earns now has more to do with this than anything. Perhaps the little sh** thinks he can worm his way back into the family.

Well said. Johnston has done the right thing by apologizing and especially by admitting he lied about the Palins.

Only time will tell as to whether he is sincere, and I’m sure the Palins understand this. I suspect that, as Christians, they will forgive him, but maintain a “trust, but verify” policy towards him, until he proves he is truly sorry and has changed his ways.

I pray that he is sincere, as there are few things as wonderful as true repentance.

Shutting up and not bothering them anymore except to pay for and visit his kid would be a real way of apologizing.

Well, I guess we will see what he actually does.

I can't imagine how any of the Palin's would find it easy to trust him again, but he is the father of Bristol's baby, so he will be involved in their lives. They can't change that fact. And if he can become a better man, he will be a better father....a good thing all around.

Well thats all good, but I would keep him at a distance at this time. Now would not be a good time to take a risk.

Especially for the likes of him.

THANK YOU!!

I can't believe people are sympathetic to this little turd burglar. He and his dirt bag mother and sister have said every horrible thing imaginable about the entire Palin family for over a year. The little scumbag though that people like Kathy Griffin would provide him with money and fame for the rest of his life. He is apologizing because every door has been slammed in his face. I feel no sympathy for him whatsoever, this is beyond youthful indiscretion.

He betrayed in order to enrich himself (books, may a movie, a reality show or some such thing). He was patient (hence a long time for apology) but the enrichment has not materialized: America saw him for what he was, and, having been used for Leftists' own purposed, he returned to what he has always been --- a nobody.

Now that the bargain looks differently, he realized that he lost everything: both money AND friends. He may well be sincere at this point, but he is still scum.

"So to the Palin family in general and to Sarah Palin in particular, please accept my regrets and forgive my youthful indiscretion," Johnston says in the statement. "I hope one day to restore your trust."

Translation: I (Levi) am out of money and even the people who want to destroy the Palins realized I am a twit who is not worth one more penny...so please forget all the crap I told those liberal media types and take me back into your family and support me. I am your grandchild's father, after all."
