Well, if it’s true and sincere, I hope the best for them and the family.
I must say, Bristol and Levi do seem to have a few things in common. (”Hello, media? It’s me!”)
If this is true, they certainly need our prayers.
I think the Palin family was very consistent in not bad mouthing Levi....We all know he was just being immature and stupid. Do these kids have a chance?? Who knows,,,
I bet. And I suspect Levi isn't exactly looking forward to that confrontation either.

He worked his way back in simply because the Palins are now worth millions, with millions more to be made. I wish them the best, but I predict it won’t end happily.

Good for them. But all of the drama around the Palin family (Bristol gets pregnant but plans to marry ; then they break up ; now they’re engaged) screams “white trash”, just as some aspects of Bill Clinton’s life did, both before and during his presidency. I don’t think Americans want that in the White House.
I’ll vote for Palin over Obama if it comes to that, but the GOP should be able to do better.

I think it’s great that Bristol and what’s his face are getting back together, if true. But if it’s also true that “they haven’t told her parents” and yet they are yakking to news reporters—well—that’s just nuts!
Of course, it may be that none of this is true. Who knows............

There are so many things aligned against kids these days... then throw in fame and the nastiness of a vindictive media... signs point to no. Still, sometimes difficult challenges bring out the best in people and they rise to the occasion. Everyone SHOULD hope the best for them but unfortunately everyone won't.
He hasn't had to work since he knocked her up. Unless you count removing your shirt for a magazine spread "work".

I understand that Bristol Palin probably is still infatuated with him, and that she wants her son to have both his parents raising him, but Levi Johnston's behavior suggests that his motivation is neither commitment to Miss Palin nor solicitude for his son but his knowledge that his in-laws will support their daughter's little family financially for some time.
Whenever he is eventually shown to be unfaithful or is asked point blank to get a real job and support his family, it will end in tears.
It would not surprise me if some third party was paying him to worm his way back into the Palin family in order to cause a tabloid-saturating divorce fight at the most electorally opportune time.

I'm willing to bet the reception would go like this: "It's wonderful Levi has decided to man up to his personal responsibilities as a father. We'll help you set up an apartment somewhere and give him a month to find a job, then financially, you're on your own. C'ya, uh-huh!"

funny it wasn’t too long ago that people here were ripping US Weekly for spreading rumors and lies. Now Bristol goes to US Weekly to announce she’s getting married, before apparently telling her family. LOL Guess maybe they weren’t spreading lies after all.

She's got that great career going peddling herself as a spokeswoman for abstinence groups so money isn't currently a problem. Levi can lie around the house all day playing "World of Warcraft" and sucking down suds, occasionally doing an interview here or there, while she brings home the bacon. What more could any spawn of Wasilla trailer trash want?
