I suppose black people could be genetically at increased risk of obesity.I'm not a physician so I can't say.But if it's true then they'd be wise to pay particular attention...lifelong attention...to weight and diet.In fact it's not a bad idea for just about *everyone* in this country to do so regardless of race or genetics.

Those who tend to gain weight today would have been the strong stock that survived famine in the past.

Today it’s a bad thing.

Once she stops expending so much energy on the tennis court, her diet will have to change. It’s a pretty simple premise.

Fat kids need to get up from the TV and the computer screen and run around more. The only question is who’s going to make them do that: themselves? Their parents? Their teachers? Michelle Obama?

It’s not just overweight kids, that’s ALL kids.
Even thin kids are prone to cardio problems now a days.

Some of that is lack of Vitamin D from sunshine too.
