I don’t have any idea why she did an about face but I sure hope someone finds out and writes about it, whatever it is will not speak well for her.

The New Black Panther Party is essentially a “phone-booth” operation, i.e. their local memberships can each fit into a phone booth.

You never see more than about a dozen thugs at any one rally, often no more than 3-4. The media has built them up to something that they are not, large and legitimate.

The bulk of their members are the marxist “lumpenproletariat” that Marx, Engels, and Lenin so loved, the lowest of the low in society, those with the least to lose in a violent revolution, and those the most likely to be the cannonfodder for the communists.

If you check the records of the old marxist BPP leaders and members from the 60’s-70’s, they too, with a few exceptions, were from the lumpenproletariat ranks, the ones William Kunstler wanted to keep on the streets.

This new bunch is even more psychotic and stupidly vocal. Huey Newton would never have made the mistakes Shabbaz and Shabbaz have made. Malik even has a law degree from Howard University. Says a lot about their law school, eh?

For several years (decades, actually) she has not only been a conservative, but the leading conservative in opposition to quotas against whites and men. This is as obvious a defection as any I have seen since Gary Wills went left. Whether she has folded under pressure from fellow academics or for other reasons, this is quite distressing. It is almost like Rush Limbaugh endorsing Obama.

Yes, the video of Megyn Kelly Kelly interviewing Malik Shabazz was a real eye opener for me. I knew he had a law degree but wondered how he got it, he could barely get the words out of his mouth.

Howard University should take a good look at who they have teaching, they should definitely be ashamed that Malik got his degree there.

Thanks, from the background I read on her it seemed she was a conservative but connected to some elitist types. I don’t know why the switch but she surely did switch positions on this.

Thernstrom did show her conservative side in 2001 when she wrote the rebuttal to the majority (lib) opinion on supposed voter supression claim by the Commission headed by, I think, Mary Frances Berry, regarding the 2000 election. You know, things like because there were more ballots disqualified in black districts that there was some kind of voter suppresion. Or the biggie - a police traffic stop a half-mile away from a polling place supposedly intimidated law abiding blacks from voting. 12 people were stopped (three were black) and this morphed into hundreds of thousands and then, in 2004, John Kerry claimed millions.

The good news is that it will be very hard for Holder and Co. to get away with this again come November. And mark my words, these racist, attention-loving Panthers will put on a show again but this time there will be multiple cameras to guarantee a strong crop of evidential evidence.
