Looking at their combat record, which plane would you feel safer in? An Israeli re-engineered aircraft or a stock U.S. made plane?

IMHO,the Israelis.The IDF is considered to be one of the most high-tech armies in the world, possessing top-of-the-line weapons and computer systems. IDF has several large internal R&D departments.
